Het is bijna zover. Het strijd om de Wereldtitel gaat weer beginnen. Hieronder een overzicht van groep B.
Nederland
❏ Informatief
De huidige postie van Nederland op de wereldranglijst is 7, dit is gebaseerd op de volgende rankingpunten: 2887.50.

Nederland haalde de halve finale, maar werd uitgeschakeld door Spanje.

Nederland werkte in groep J haar kwalificatiewedstrijden af. Met 30 punten uit 10 wedstrijden werd het maximale aantal punten in deze kwalificatiereeks behaald

Nederland qualificeerde zich in groep J. 30 punten uit 10 wedstrijden.
Niets op aan te merken. Een clean sheet zeg maar. Kon er nog iets beter (minder tegendoelpunten? ;-)
Ik vond het een zeer goede campagne. Buiten onze 1ste match zijn we nooit echt in de problemen gekomen. Natuurlijk had 0 tegendoelpunten mooier geweest dan 3..maarja zo erg is dat nu ook niet ;)
groep B is de groep des doods, maar ook de meest interessante. Wat zijn je verwachtingen in deze groep B?
Ik verwacht dat het bloed, zweet en tranen zal kosten om ons te kwalificeren. Deze groep is echt geen cadeau. Veel zal er vanaf hangen hoe we tegen Italië presteren.
Om met weinig druk naar Hongarije te trekken zijn we verplicht om minstens een punt te halen tegen Italianen. Tegen de huidige wereldkampioen is dit alvast geen makkelijke opdracht :) Een 6 op 9 zou een zeer mooi resultaat zijn voor Nederland..9 op 9, prachtig! ;)
Nederland staat op dit moment op een 7de plek volgens de world ranking. Na de halve finale van de vorige WK, behoort Nederland wel tot een van de favorieten om het ver te schoppen.
Kan Nederland omgaan met die druk, of is Nederland helemaal niet favoriet om een rol te spelen in de strijd om de WK titel?
Nederland heeft zeker de kwaliteiten om een goed resultaat te kunnen neerzetten op een WK, maar we zeker niet de favoriet op het WK. Daar hebben we een te kleine kern voor.
Het spijtig is dat nu er de belangrijkste spelers grote vorm dalingen aanwezig zijn, waardoor we minder het verschil gaan kunnen maken tegen toppers dan vorig seizoen. Het zal dus een beetje afhangen van de vorm van de ploeg, kaarten en blessures hoe ver we zullen geraken. De crew en ik hebben alleszins genoeg ervaring om met de stress te kunnen omgaan, dus dat zit al goed :)
Als je kijkt naar de andere groepen van het WK, kun je een aantal teams opnoemen waarvan jij denkt dat deze zullen verrassen tijdens dit WK en waarom?
Ik denk dat België wel de verrassing kan zijn op het WK. Ik heb zopas de vorm stijgingen gezien en héél wat belangrijke spelers zijn daar in topvorm. Ik verwacht dus een goede prestatie van Langhe :) Verder verwacht ik weer een sterk Spanje en misschien Mexico als grootste verrassing van het toernooi.
Italia

Did something went wrong in the match against Scotland, or is Scotland an upcoming country which we must consider as difficult to play against?
Surely Scotland is not an easy team to face. I've seen some of their defenders on
TL in last weeks and I can reassure you that they haven't anything to envy to the other best defenders of the Sokker World.
However I wasn't Ct in the qualifications, what I can say is that in the first match our Ct set down a strange defensive line, which cause us lots of difficulties.
group B is the most difficult, but most exicting group in this World Cup. Can you tell me What your expectations are in this group B?
I expected an easier group, but random gave us strong team and so we have to fight in every match for earn the qualification. I think that we're 3 teams quite at the same level, while Hungary is on a lower step. I'll be very glad to conquest the pass for the next round, no matter the position.
Italia is ranked 2nd in the world ranking. As the holder of the title World Champion of last World Cup, Italia is one of the favorites to win the title again.
Can Italia handle the pressure, or don't you think that Italia is one of the favorites to win the World Cup?
I think that year after year the differences between the countries are getting smaller and smaller. Polska has surely the better players, but below them I see lots of Nations who have to fight until the last minute for subdue the opposite.
Nederland, Belgie, Spain. Eesti, Brasil, Romania, and other outsiders count on great players which can make the difference in a match.
I'm sure that only luck for what concern Form, Red Cards and injury will be the real judge of this competition.
When we take a look at the other groups of the World Cup; Can you sum a couple of teams of which you think they will surprise at this World Cup and why?
Romania. They have a lots of users, and they're ready to make something important at the World Cup.
Mexico. Maximiliano Bravo is in form, and he's one who can lead a team alone...Moreover I've often seen chinese's matches, and I've quite always appreciated his tactics

Second place after Eesti, but Venezuela was very close. 3 matches were lost, what went wrong (besides the matches against Eesti)
Well, Eesti has a very strong team so no surprise we lost against them. Venezuela is a different story, we could have won both match in my opinion, but on the second one they had a pretty good counter-tactic.

Can you tell me What your expectations are in this group B?
This is a very hard group indeed, especially for us. I can't really expect too much, I only hope that my tactics will be effective and with a bit of luck we can finish better than the 4th place:)

I'd like to reach the best 16. But given our group it seems we need a smaller miracle for that.

I don't know if I can consider it as a surprise but I'm very eager to see the Czech Republic going far. They are in the shadows of the biggest teams (like Italy, Poland, Spain, Netherlands) but they are as strong as them in my opinion. On the other hand I think the reigning champion will cause a negative surprise.

Second place after USA, no matches were lost, just 3 matches as a draw. Were the results in this qualifcation in your opinion a good result, or could it be better?
Yes, the results could be better. We had draws against South Africa and New Zealand, wich i counted as victories, and those draws counted aganis us at the end.
Group B is the most difficult, but most exicting group in this World Cup.
Both things. I love to face strong Nts because altought its harder to win, you get double pleasure if you do so.
Can you tell me What your expectations are in this group B?
I honestly believe that the brazilian NT can reach the round of 16. With hard work and if our tactics fit, Brazil can get second or even first place in the group.
Brasil is ranked 11th in the world ranking. Previous World Cup, Brasil reached the 1/8 finals, and lost the game from the Netherlands.
Do you think you can reach the 1/8th finals or maybe more in this World Cup?
Well, i belive that if we can reach the round of 16, we will go to the finals. Getting a strong group early has its good side, as we can know the real strenght of our squad.
When we take a look at the other groups of the World Cup; Can you sum a couple of teams of which you think they will surprise at this World Cup and why?
Spain is a really strong squad, and i also like Eesti.

Je hebt naar mijn mening 4 teams die kans hebben om door te gaan. En van die 4 geef ik Nederland en Italie de meeste kans.
