Ismael Varela. great striker have good skills and have defence so he is complete
One good def is Alfredo Conserva. he is one of the best of his age.
and one great promise
Bairon Mella. He is a promise, he is from my team hehe. Have a great talent (3.2) and great skills but he have no form to play.
2. Which players of each group opponents are you afraid at most?
Kristjan Jõgioja [11145351] I don't know his skills but looks like one of the best strikers of Eesti.
Xander Biekman [11893751] From Nederlands. He is a great mid. I saw a few matchs from his NT and looks good
and from Colombia, Armando Galán [10613157]. Incredible mid
3. What do you want to achieve with your NT in the World Cup?

It's a complicated group but I have hope and we have a good team. I thoguht that Colombia is the worse team but it's dangerous anyway. And Eesti have a great team, maybe the best of the group
5. What is your biggest advantage over other NT coaches?
I already have one period of U21. the first season I was the coach and for time reason I didn't continue in the second but now I have the time and the ex-coach can't continue with his period. So I think that I have good exp and I know almost all my pla
6. Which teams will be in the final?
I hope that Chile will be in the final. the other finalist? any one. If we got to that round we need to win any one who put in our way
7. Who would you support if your own country would get eliminated?
The one who eliminate us. There we can say that we loose against the champion hehe
8. Which other coach is the Guus Hiddink of SK in your opinion?
haha I don't understand this.. maybe in europe you have some especifically idea of Guus Hiddink. to me is one coach like all others
9. Why are you the NT coach of this country?
Cause is my country hehe. I love my country and I like to do the best for it. I want to see my country in the top so I want to see if I can do this for Chile :)

1. Who do you think are your best NT players? And why?[please give 3 best players and a little description of each one]
We have a pretty solid team this season but we don’t have that much star players like our strikers last season for example. But if I have to choose I would say this:
1. Lars Uijtregt: It's a realy fantastic winger, I think even one of the best of his age in Sokker but his problem is that his form is always low! Hopefully he will be in form when the WC starts. Then he will be our star player.
2. Xander Biekman: This player is only 20! years old but already one of the best players in this years team. This is shown by his transfer a couple of seasons ago, he’s sold for 17 million euro's! He can be used as defensive, central or even attacking midfielder. He will be a monster player in the future. But he will be a first team player in our U21 this year!
3. Max Lambregste: He isn’t as good as our strikers last season but he’s still our best striker this season and definitely a very nice player! It’s a shame he had a long term injury wich is still not totally recovered but I hope he will be there when the world cup starts and score many goals for uss!
2. Which players of each group opponents are you afraid at most?
Chile: Segundo Benavides, this is a player from a well known Dutch manager and a have seen his skills some time ago. I think he’s one of the best 21 year old strikers at the moment and we surely must watch out for this great player!
Colombia: I don’t know much about this country yet but I think Armando Galán is a very important player for them. He is one of the best midfielders in our group I guess.
Eesti: I don’t know why Kristjan Jõgioja hasn’t played any matches for EestiU21 yet but only the fact that he already has a value from 1 million euros now makes me afraid:P. I think not many 21 year old field players achieve this in the beginning of the season so he must be great.
3. What do you want to achieve with your NT in the World Cup?
I hope we become first or second in the qualification group and qualify for the 1/8 finals but it will be hard to achieve this because I think we have three tough opponents. Especially Chile will be very hard to beat I think. After the group stage every round further would be great!

5. What is your biggest advantage over other NT coaches?
I think we can make a lot of good tactics with this current crew. We are familiar with a lot off different formations so we maybe can surprise our opponents. Also I have learned a lot last season as U21-coach and seasons before that, when I was advisor myself, from mostly Pauleta and The_smiths. Therefore we managed to qualify in a very hard group with England, France and Hungary. We became first in this group thanks to some good tactics.

Italy-Poland
7. Who would you support if your own country would get eliminated?
EnglandU21(because they have a nice NT-coach and were 2nd in our qualification group).
And also Belgium a little bit because they are always spamming our forums :P.
8. Which other coach is the Guus Hiddink of SK in your opinion?
I think Maqoma is a really great coach. He has a lot of experience with managing NT’s and he has done almost all his jobs amazing! Like with our NT last seasons. I guess he’s one off the best managers in Sokker.
9. Why are you the NT coach of this country?
Because it’s my home country of course :P. Also I always liked making tactics and being involved with the NT. I enjoyed being scout and Tactical advisor before so the ambition was to become U21-coach next. I was really happy when I won the elections. I also appreciate that I can do the world cup now, after we managed to qualify.

As i have prefered, i haven't used most of the players i'm planing to use, i'll give u a short answer. Edison Rojas, Carlos Rozo, and Armando Galán are the most important plyers, due to a horrible beggining of the season. We used to have a very strong team, but we don't anymore. So these 3 players, who play in the midldle, have the skills to keep the ball and give the football ideas over the other players.
2. Which players of each group opponents are you afraid at most?
To be honest, at this time i haven't checked it at all. I usually care about the tactics, not too much about the players. I'm most afraid of Chile.
3. What do you want to achieve with your NT in the World Cup?
At today, i would like to get until second round. If this friday i saw a better team than i suppose i have, i would think we could get quarters.
4. How do you think, what will be the group standings after all games?
I wish Colombia-Chile-Eesti-Nederland.. but i think Colombia as second, third is more realistic. And i'm giving my opinion without watching enough about Nederland.
5. What is your biggest advantage over other NT coaches?
Self-confident, after bringing Colombia at the best ranking we ever have got. 15th place before lose last 3 matches, and getting some imprtant results against teams like Spain, Mexico, Srbija, etc.
6. Which teams will be in the final?
Italy.. and could be Polska
7. Who would you support if your own country would get eliminated?
Any Latin American team
8. Which other coach is the Guus Hiddink of SK in your opinion?
mmm, not really.. I don't think that about anyone yet, i think there is more than one speaking too much. well.. just kiddin
9. Why are you the NT coach of this country?
I began with NT Colombia 7 seasons ago, so people know me and feel confident about my skills. At least they know i take the time to do my duties. Otherwise, because of the ranking we have got.. Our National Team never have got better than 25, something like that.

Had je net zo goed niets kunnen posten hoor. Het WK voor de U21(1e editie) en dan is het toch normaal dat dergelijke topics in leven worden gehouden en is het idd gek dat over een paar uur de 1e match word gespeeld, en er verder niets over geschreven is.
Maar zeg eens Wout, als je durft, wat wil je met je post nu bereiken?

Vanavond dus de eerste match. Winst is een lekker begin iig! Ik ga vol spanning kijken:D
Ik kan helaas niet kijken vanavond, maar spannend is het zeker. Jort is tevreden over de tactiek, dus we zullen zien wat we kunnen uitrichten tegen Chili. Niet om alvast in te dekken, maar Chili is denk ik wel de sterkste ploeg in de poule, dus het wordt even afwachten hoe het resultaat is.
Ik ook niet live, moet judoën (zie spamtopic:P).
Maar ik wil het wel in zijn geheel gaan kijken eigenlijk. Ben benieuwd hoe de taktiek gaat uitpakken en met wat voor een taktiek Chili komt.

Mijn tiende ceck en aanpassingen net gedaan :P! We zijn er helemaal klaar voor en ik hoop echt dat we een goed resultaat neer kunnen zetten tegen dit sterke Chile :).
19:30 is het zover Dan gaat het eerste officiële U21 WK voor ons van start :). Ik hoop op veel belangstellenden die ons komen aanmoedigen voor deze wedstrijd!

Nu gaat trouwens Eesti - Colombia van start. De andere wedstrijd in onze poule. Een gelijkspelletje zou hier mooi zijn natuurlijk.
Misschien leuk om hier ook naar te kijken. Ga ik in ieder geval wel doen.

Bluep houdt er ook wel een erg vreemde tactiek op na.
Inderdaad.. wou net zeggen dat ik Colombia verrassend sterk vond alleen misschien is het ook wel Eesti verrassend zwak...
Colombia verdiende in ieder geval meer dan die 0-1 ruststand van nu! We zullen zien hoe het afloopt

Colombia speelt helemaal niet sterk vind ik. Eesti heeft wel het betere van het spel overigens (mag ook wel met al die 'middenvelders', maar krijgt simpelweg geen kansen op deze manier.
Het betere spel misschien... maar betere kansen in ieder geval niet en daar gaat het uiteindelijk toch om (als die kansen er ook in gaan dan). Vind dat Colombia het inmiddels wel verdiend had 0-2 mogen voorstaan.
Eerste keer dat ik een wedstrijd van een ander team kijk. Ik vond het al zo slecht voor dit niveau, maar blijkbaar is dit geen graadmeter.
