I fully agree with that. Of course there was a very small part of Poles who collaborated, usually from lower level of society, who saw it as their chance to improve their position and possibly wealth. You can find such scum everywhere, as you can find Nazi supporters, antisemites, nationalists etc. There were even cases of Jewish people supporting the Germans.
The thing is, it does not mean that the death camps were in any way Polish. Yes, they were located on former Polish soil (former, since Poland was already fully conquered when they were created and run), but that doesn't make them Polish.
It's a very sensitive subject in Poland, since Poland had by far the highest number of civilian casualties in Europe during the WWII (estimated to be around 5.5-6 million people) and it is often forgotten, that a huge amount of the Jews in death camps had a Polish nationality and lived in Poland for a very long time. Moreover, Polish people, Catholics, were also brought to the death camps and murdered there.
So it's not a matter of nationalism as Charles tries to present it, but a matter of defending the honour of these people. The term 'Polish death camps' was created by Alfred Benzinger, head of Nazi intelligence, and popularised by Nazi propaganda. And it unfortunately worked, the phrase is very often used by American media and even the German media. That's actually the reason of the whole situation in last days - German ZDF used the term Polish death camps on their websites 'frontpage' and rejected to delete it. And it is not the first time ZDF did it, it happens at least once a year.

Stop with your lies and 'nationalist troll' card, it's not working.
The only person who wrote about the subject here was Gohf and he wrote the same thing I write from beginning. Stop with the lies already.
Hypocriet. Zielige vent.
Well you should behave properly and your previous behavious was unacceptable and very rude.
It's also rude to write to me in Dutch, since I know that you can speak in English easily. When you came to Polish forum I did not write to you in Polish, did I? It's called having manners.

I suggest you stop discussing with him mate. It's pointless and won't get you amywhere. You should know that charles vision is your vision too and if it's not your clearly wrong.
He already blocked me because he can't stand it when people see things differently as him.

You write hate, hate nationalists do not respect other views, you are a xenophobe.
If he is the 'next troll', then I assume I am the first one? Why do you call me a troll, I did nothing wrong.
Anyway, sorry for the racist moron, unfortunately we have some of those. Not many, but they are loud...
@Gohf
I guess you are right, there's no point in shouting at a wall.

Funny, the history of 'Poland' and 'death camps' gives the same reaction as 'Turkey' and 'Armenian genocide'.
Talking about a shouting wall :/

So you learnt nothing, it's disgusting and you should be ashamed of yourself.
Are you seriously making this comparison...? The genocide created/ordered and fulfilled by Ottoman government and the genocided created/ordered by GERMANS and fulfilled by GERMANS on former Polish territory makes it a Polish wrongdoing?
Are you really that crazy and ignorant, or are you just trolling?
