How to play Sokker, explained in only 6 steps.
STEP 1. ALWAYS ASK QUESTIONS if you don't know what to do. There are many national and international forums and topics on Sokker you can use to ask your questions. And there are many helpful managers who will answer all your questions as good as they can.
● Forum Newbie Questions
● Topic Sokker Questions/Answers
STEP 2. First your team, sell/fire all players who are 23 years (or even 21 years) and older and also sell/fire the players younger as 23 years (or 21 years) who don't have the minimal skills required for a position (click on the name of a player for more player-info). Replace all these players with new players so you have 22 players again to play in your first and second squad.
Keep these skills in mind when you sell/fire players and buy new ones (but remember, there isn't really a right or wrong in Sokker, only better or worse):
Position = Main Stats - (Recommended Stats) - ((Useful Stats))
● GK = keeper + pace - (passing)
● DEF = defender + pace - (playmaker, technique, passing)
● MID = playmaker + passing - (pace , technique, defender) - ((striker))
● ATT = striker + technique - (pace, playmaker, passing) - ((defender))
On the transferlist you can find many good young players to buy, 19 years and younger (fun to do, but BE CAREFUL with your money!!):
● Transferlist young GK's (extra attention to keeper + pace!!)
● Transferlist young DEF's (extra attention to defence + pace!!)
● Transferlist young MID's (extra attention to playmaker + passing!!)
● Transferlist young ATT's (extra attention to striker + technique!!)
Install a Sokker tool for extra help:
● Sokker Organizer
● Apollo (zip)
● SokkerViewer
Also useful:
● Mozilla Firefox
● Grease-Monkey
● oSokker
STEP 3. Go to the training page and change individual training to stamina (training match order doesn't matter with stamina training!). Train this skill a few weeks till most players have at least 'very good' stamina. During the time it takes to train stamina you can learn more about training and training-programs (I recommend pace training after the stamina training).
Only players who played a match will receive training (except for stamina training, all players will train regardless if they played a match or not)
In this same page you find your coaches. Fire all coaches you have, they are useless. Buy 1 new head coach with unearthly stamina, like these coaches (remember: these are ABSOLUTELY NOT assistants and junior coaches):
● Transferlist head coach unearthly stamina, good to start with
Important is to remember the head coach ALWAYS needs unearthly on the skill that you are training!
You don't need assistants and/or a junior coach the first few weeks, but the moment you want to have assistants and/or a junior coach, ask other managers what is important to know before you get them.
STEP 4. Watch these videos to learn how to create a tactic and a line-up (incl an example 532 tactic):
When using this 532 tactic the following info is important to know:
DEF = number 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6
MID = number 7, 8 and 9
ATT = number 10 and 11
Number 4 must be a fast DEF with higher playmaker + passing.
Number 9 must be a MID with higher technique.
Number 10 must be an ATT with higher playmaker + passing.
STEP 5. Arrange friendly matches so the players who didn't play competition matches in the weekends will also receive training, and you can also use these friendly matches to try out new tactics. You need to arrange these friendly matches weekly, or join a friendly competition (only Plus managers can start new friendly competitions)!
Go to the Friendly match page, make your own ad and/or browse ads and invite teams.
STEP 6. DO NOT rebuild your stadium, first raise the ticketprices a bit and if you're still sold out after a few weeks you can start thinking about rebuilding (always rebuild the 100 Standings first and rebuild with a minimum of 2000 Benches). But first invest your money in your players and coaches!!

What de fuck!
