Be warned though when you come to Amsterdam. Big chance they're going to call you Panathinaikos or Olympiakos when you have a Greek name. A good friend of mine who is Greek is constantly called Panathinaikos by us.

I would love to be called Panathinaikos.... I hope I don't get called as Ten Cate or Charisteas :P :P:P

We really don't care. Do you really think my friend had a choice when we started calling him Panathinaikos?

Machlas used to play for Vitesse and then Ajax (he was the first scorer in Europe in the 97-98 seaseon). Also Yannis Anastasiou played in Ajax, Roda, Sparta and Omniworld. However the worst greek player played in Ajax is by far mr. Charisteas....!!!


We also have Ten Cate as a coach in Panathinaikos and I can say I'm not quite pleased with him
