No, it's dutch with a Flamish accent....

I'm confused.. 'Cause the guy I met was from Gent, Belgium.. And he told me that this is Flemish!

Flemish is just Dutch without the rolling (is it called like that?) r, with other tone (like: I want beer! or I want beer but then in one word :p) and litlle differences in language itself

Spoken languages in Belgium:
French ( tu sais!) Flemish/dutch ( just the bloody same only some minor differences in proverbs, and some words does exist in Dutch but arent used often but are often used in flemish, the people in the belgium forum write dutch/flemish pretty informal so thats why I call that Flemish...)
and german...
Holland: Dutch, frysian...
