you need def to U21, so tell def :D

better (for U21 of course ;p) is to create very good defender than quite good defmid - for example in the WC squad we have 2 very good DM, some nice but nothing special - but.... only 2-3 good defs :(

defense (defs + GK) is the biggest problem in our U21 team - so maybe because of that I think better is to train speed and def first, after that could be mid skills training

after 4 seasons in U21 PL - ok, maybe he could be also 1st team there but with higher form. In Czech he is a star even with tragic form :>

i understand you. I was 5 sezon U21 coach slovakia and saw in every player possition, what i did not have :D

but for U21 is for this player the best trani pace and def. But like mid training will be too good.

39 sum at 18, if talented he could have 60+ defmid sum at 21 easilly, trust me, I did it. He could be world class Defmid for any U21..
