Dear friends, I want to thank you all for your kind welcome.
I'd like you listened to what I have to say and did not close your hears before even hearing my words, like it is common doing with foreign managers in other countries.
Kudos for that!

I saw no one was candidating here and I thought a good work could be done, but now a well known and experienced user like Din0 pop up.
I was still thinking about staying here anyway, but I got pressure from Vikingo67 to keep up the work we've done in Finland, so please forgive me, but I'm going to retire my candidature here.

I'd like to thank very very much the people who voted for me, giving me their trust.

In order to not disappoint them, and also for thanking the kind welcome you gave me, I'd like to offer Din0, if he would be interested, a bit of my expertise on the DB area, so that my short candidature here would not be for nothing, but giving anyway some improvement to the Czech community :)

If not for Din0 you'd have my vote. Hope you'll stick around with our NT as you' ve suggested, we can always use a sokker maniac like you:-)

If you're interested I can share you some ideas about organization... this way, as I said before, this experience could bring a profit to the Czech community.

I've worked a lot in NT staff and I noticed that there were very often a high inefficiency.
What were the problems?
Tipically the staff are organized in a structure like this:
* the coach
* some generic assistants
* goalkeeper scout
* def scout
* mid scout
* att scout
tipically a new scout doesn't know what to do and how to do it... he doesn't know the DB, everything looks strange to him... so quite some time is lost on "scout formation", and usually the coach, which is the one who already know those things is distracted from what he should do by teaching scouting to the scouts... moreover I noticed that unfortunately scouts tend to become lazy after the first 2/3 weeks... and if you're the coach you can't be always there asking them to move... so I kinda centralized the information and the decision and start to employ the scouts in a different way...

Here's the organization I designed:
There's a head scout, who checks the DB and sees which players need update (in Italy we unified NT and NTU21 about this btw)... then he publishes some list for every scout in the NT Fed, like this

Scout A)
Peppo Favilli
Castore Sonetti
Sebastiano Fabbri
Inico Badalamenti

Scout B)
...

and so on...
then the scout simply send a standard email (in italian or english depending on the owner) and

* if the player is "dead" he has to be deleted (this will happen only at the beginning of this work) and the scout post it in the thread "players to be deleted"
* if the owner is a bot, the player is at risk of "death", then we can try to save him if he's worth it (we actually saved some interesting players) and the scout post it in the thread "players in BOT teams"
* if the player is on TL, just update it
* if the player is not on sale and the owner is active, contact him with a standard email

now, the owner can
* update the player by himself
* copy the player's skill and paste'em in a mail anwering the scout

then the scout post the player in a specific thread "Players to be updated"... then the DB updater updates the players in the DB...

after 1 or 2 weeks or at need the head scouts checks the DB again and the cycle starts again... so there are no "fixed roles" for scouts, the players they contact are different almost every time

I know it kinda sound strange, but when it's running I can assure yoy it's easier to do than to explain.... and this "scientific" work gives you a wonderful DB... then it's up to the coach to use it at the best...

by the way we're separating the DB management from the Coach in Italy, so the coach and his tactic assistants have their own FEd in which the tactical aspects are discussed...
while the DB staff specializes just on DB... so it will be avoided the losing time of explaining the work to every new scout coming after every coach...


all in all I can assure you the quantity of time is less than normal, but the efficiency is high... so good result with a low effort... ;))

Hello there guys!

My 8-months period as NT Finland coach is now almost over (actually I'm still in the semifinals of U27 European Championship, so some things are still to be done).
However - if Din0 is not going to candidate again - I would be happy to propose my candidature for the election to Česká republika NT.
I'll be happy and motivated to take this new adventure with this great NT and community!
