Hello.
In my university I have to make an presentation.
Subject. Infrascture logistics in Czechy Rep. and Slovakia
Quality of railway station, airports, roads, trains connection etc In Czech Rep. and Slovakia.
In internet I found information but I want to get to know your opinion about this.
I found that, your trains has a big debt. But a quality is very high.
I found that, you have a project "live station" whish is helping to increase image of railway station.
In Czech Rep. infrastructure is better than in Slovakia?
Particularly I am interesting in transport by Leba river.
I will happy if in this topic will be one word which will be helpfuly for my presentation.

Quality very high? 8-0 Maybe in comparision with India or Mongolia, but our trains are old and dirty, railroad density is good but not prepared on high speed trains. Tilting train Pendolino is target of many Czech jokes because they are more in repairing depot than on railway. Its true that there are reconstructions of railway stations, mainly in Prague and co-financed by private sector.
Roads and motorways are also old and low quality.
There are not many things in which is Slovakia better than Czech Republic, so I guess that there should be some slight difference in infrastructure, but if you want see significant difference, pass Czech-German borders.

Ok You comparised Czech and Germany. But If you will comparise Czech and Poland you will get to know that, you (like a country) are not bad in infrastructure.

I can compare czech and polish railway (a little) as I live near Polish border and time to time I'm using trains of polish origin and also I've been to Poland this year by train. Train quality is slighly higher imo than in Poland, but the real differenece is as you've mentioned in stations. I think that in stations state and feel czech railway made big step towards west european standards - as for what I've seen in Austria, Belgium or England.
Polish stations are on the hand still dirty, unwelcoming and bathered looking. (I've seen Katowice and Wodzislaw Slaski)

já vám do toho nechci kecat - a popravdě ani nemám náladu se pachtit s angličtinou - ale třeba pražská příměstská doprava vlakem je naprosto super. Spojení je rychlé, levné (jezdí se na průkazku MHD Praha - tedy v rámci hranice města, dále už si člověk musí koupit další kupony či lístek), zpoždění už se taky hodně zlepšila, vlak jezdí každých 30 minut i o víkendech a večer, většina spojů je obsluhována novými Elefanty.
Mluvím tedy jen o trati se kterou mám osobní, a dost časté, zkušenosti, trať Praha-Masarykovo nádraží - Úvaly - Český Brod - Kolín, jinde to možná není taková sláva.

tak ja jsem v podstate neco v tom stylu psal, ze CD castecne modernizovaly vlaky na regionalnich tratich... U nas jsou elefanty taky, ale jen par
Já jsem jezdil poslední 4 roky 2x do týdne Praha - Moravská Třebová a někdy Moravská Třebová - Valašské Meziříčí.
A musim napsat že se ČD snaží modernizovat co nejvíce nádraží, ale rychlíky podle mě už značně přesluhují zvlášť interiér. Regionální vlaky (myslim že regionova se jmenují) jsou podle mě na skvělé úrovni ale jsou pomalé, když to porovnám s regionálním vlakem kterým jsem jel ve Francii a Rakousku.
A na závěr musim pochvalit průvodčí za celou dobu jsem s nimi neměl žádný problém a dost často byli i příjemní, což se nedá říct o vykydlých prodavačkách lístků na Hlavnim nádraží v Praze.

no!!...ja sem měl tu poctu a jel jsem transibiřskou magistralou!!...a tomu ja říkam vlak...na asi 9000km to nemělo ani jednou ani minutu spoždění a to mělo asi 81zastávek.Na každý vagón připadali dva průvodčí,kteří se střídali se službou...každý den přisli s vysavačem a vysáli nám kupé (2.TŘIDOU JSME JELI),pokud jsme chtěli nebyl problém si nechat uvařit čas(sice asi za 10kč).Cesta trvala 7 krásných dní a byl jsem maximálně spokojen.Sice to bylo v Rusku jediná věc,která tam byla udržována a v pěkném stavu......A pokud to srovnávám s českýma(vím,že je to sice blbost srovnávat magistrálu a naší ,,střelu,,)...máme tady už asi 20let starou střelu....která jezdí Vsetín-Velké Karlovice.....interiér je docela udržovaný a v některých vlacích se pomalu mění(asi na autobusove sedáky z kožených),ale mašíny se mnohdy ani nemohou rozjet když jede vicero lidí a už jen čekám jak jednoho dne pojedu do školy a oni mě řeknou,že střela nejede,protože selhala mašina:D:D:D....Teď asi měsíc zde jezdí regionnova,ale má obrovský problém-když je plná tak je pomala nabíra spoždění a má velký problém s převýšením.:D...takže ČD NIC MOC oproti jiným!!:D:D...sice to nemá s Prahou nic společného,ale měl jsem nutkání to napsat!!:D:D:D
