So, in this saturday Israel plays Romania. In this match will be played 2 new tactics for sokker with the hope that 1 of 2 tactics works. Even though there are new tactics there is a chance to stop anaconda's awesome winning streak. I invite you to watch this match by clicking here:

Two tactics in one match? Means, Romania will try a new one too?

Yes, we made an agreement. Romania will try something, I will try other stuff.

These are the last two matches of Romania:

România - Magyarország 2:1 (7:15 shots)

România - België 4:2 (4:15 shots)


...so i say that you have to take 20 against 2 shots to win against anaconda:)

I also am lucky, so if there won't be any cards/injuries the match will be pretty even :-)

EDIT: forgot to say that anaconda has never beaten me at NT level.(yes we've played against each other)

As Ice-T said, tomorrow's game will be a test for both NTs, I also want to test something, with the help of Ice-T, and I won't be so upset if Israel will be the first team to beat the "unbeaten world champions" Romania and to ruin my 37 game-streak without loosing, as NT coach :) "Only a team coached by anaconda in the past can beat the team anaconda is coaching" greg used to say... :P

yep, 1 match: Rossyia 0-0 Israel :) But still we can't beat each other until...maybe tomorrow :D

So we have the groups now. Germany wasn't handed quite the best group possible, cause on the 3rd place is Bulgaria, one of the strongest teams from Pot 3. I guess the qualifying campaign will be a bit more interesting. The Czech NT may put some pressure in direct matches, but the qualification is achievable and "it is a MUST".

I have the same opinon. Czech Republic is a strong team and Bulgaria has also a nice team. They are always good for a surprise. Other teams can´t qualify for WC.

But with yours expert knowledge it´s a must to be first in our group! ;)

Besides, as I promised, I have to say something about the test match Romania - Israel. Click here to see the team formations:

In this match was tested for the first time 2 wingers stuck to each other, just like some play 2 strikers connected(like THIS). This kind of small innovation is quite good, but there still have to be developed a better mid positioning to improve. In the other tactic the striking(and winger) positioning was tested. To try and counter the low defense line. It worked quite well, but the finishing unfortunately was horrible. It was just luck's stuff, when 2 top strikers can't score :)

P.S. Even though in sokker there were lots of tactical improvements. I am sure there is still more to be invented and applied.

So überzeugend war der Doppelwinger nicht. Überzeugend war aber Anacondas Dusel, in der 89. den Siegtreffer zu erzielen.

Well, yeah... he's quite lucky, no wonder he won the World Cup :)

P.S. Glad to see some new features implemented in sokker. Most important are the possibility to use 2 tactics in a match and more conditional orders. This si a great strengthening for a NT coach. If I have the chance I may even try this new feature in the match against Czech Republic.

2. Prepare a match(friendly of course)(available only for first position)
