Jetzt heißt es wieder: das Runde muss in das Eckige!

Vorab:

Eines muss man Ice-T lassen: durch die letzten, doch eher durchwachsenen Leistungen unserer alten Hoffnungsträger (zuletzt mit einer 0:4-Niederlage gegen Frankreich) hat er es geschafft, unser Team aus dem Kreis der Favoriten auf den WM-Titel zu ziehen. Dass sein Anspruch ein anderer ist, wissen wir, doch es bedarf schon einer gewaltigen Steigerung gegenüber den Tests, um im WM-Turnier eine Geige spielen zu können. Allein die Vorrundengruppe hat es in sich. Deutschland trifft auf die an eins gesetzten Rumänen, starke Serben und taktisch sehr variable Schweden. Vor allem gegen die beiden Letztgenannten sind allerdings Siege Pflicht, um in die Runde der letzten 16 zu kommen. Da ist das Auftaktspiel gegen Rumänien noch so etwas wie ein Härtetest der härteren Sorte. Selbst wenn das Spiel nicht gewonnen werden kann, sollte es reichen, wenn Ice-Ts Jungs dann einfach alle anderen Spiele gewinnen. Mehr wollen wir ja gar nicht.

Jetzt geht´s um die Wurst! Ich hoffe, Ice-T wird seinen eigenen Ansprüchen gerecht. Ein Weiterkommen ist Pflicht, wenn man den Titel holen will. Lassen wir uns überraschen!

Hello Coach! Would you shortly present yourself to the community?
I'm Ice-T, the best user from Moldova here in Sokker.

Can you share with us your greatest moment/match as NT-coach so far?
Germany-Hungary, the last WC Final. If we talk about prestige, yet it was an awful ending with a bug(same player shot 3 penlaties in the shoot-out).

Personally I consider Schweiz-Deutschland, the semi-final match the best match so far. Though I had a small "collection" of great matches played.

What’s your biggest strength as a coach?
His mental skills. And by that I mean: flexibility, adaptability, creativity, sportsmanship and how he behaves under pressure.

Do you have a favourite player in your NT squad?
It was Mauser, but this legend is too old yet not bad(skill-wise). But if I have to choose from the current squad, I am thinking either Gallesdorfer or Haupt(even though he didn't play most of time, due to tragic form).

What do you think about your opponents in the group? Who will go through?
That's the second toughest group after B, you can say that group A and B are the strongest one in this edition.

Of course I do want to go through, but it will be very hard, I mean : Romania- ex-World Champ, with one of the toughest coaches, Serbia- once again I meet'em and with the same coach, but now I feel we will have a different battle, which will be tougher. And Sweden- ex-finalist who gave Romania a hard time in the final. This team despite having a disadvantage in player skills, has a great coach. So Anyone here can go through.

What is your goal at this World Cup?
Last time I ended up with the Silver Medal, and I felt robbed by the way the match went. So now I want to get the Gold, even though it will be much tougher as I feel the squad isn't as good as it was last time.

Which team will win the World Cup?
After answering last question it will be stupid to say any other team than Deutschland ;)

Which team do you think has the greatest potential to sursprise in this edition?
Moldova

Any words you want to tell the community?
I would like mostly to address to German Community and thank them for being patient and having faith in my skills. This is the 3rd season here and I am glad to get this chance again at World Cup.

I hope this World Cup will be very entertaining and with no controversial Finals this time.

Found out we gonna lose 3-4... while watching the game I must say it was truly undeserved. Romania got so lucky

Schade. Sieg war allerdings verdient, genauso wie er umgekehrt auch verdient gewesen wäre.

Aber schick, dass mein finnischer Torwart auf einmal mitspielen darf, wo er eigentlich nicht zur absoluten Weltklasse gehört. :-)

Wenn du damit meinst, dass ein Remis gerecht gewesen wäre, dann stimme ich dir zu.

@Ice-T: So unlucky. It was a great match between us and Romania. Both have many great chances. And it was a nice tactic from you. With our problems with injuries and form you have played very well. What a pity that we can´t use our best players.

I couldn't agree more. And the most annoying thing is that we were leading 2-0!



For the next match we have even more issue: now we have our best striker available injured... A good thing is that Baidinger(imho the best Def atm along Mayerer) is going to be fit.

Romania had better strikers. It´s just as simple as that.

So we should try to train just more strikers in the future...

Trotzdem gut gespielt, der Alin hat mehr Glück gehabt. Er hat auch viel riskiert mit 3 ATT zu spielen, aber es hat sich doch gelohnt.

Es ist ja nicht so, dass wir keine haben. Das Problem sind eher Verletzungen und Form. Da hat sich in den letzten Saisons viel getan.

Das ist kein Widerspruch - wenn man in der Breite besser aufgestellt ist, findet sich dann auch ein gleichwertiger Spieler...

Dafür müssen aber auch die nötigen Jugendspieler gezogen werden. Ich glaube, dass in Deutschland schon die allermeisten Talente gut trainiert und auch fertig trainiert werden.
