I have been making a webBrowser in C++ which is going to be released on 1th December 2008, and i'd like some information from you because i want to translate it in german too.

So could you tell me how are these words in German?

well i see you dind't understand the word "Go" well these words are for a webbrowser.

go= "start" like beginning (?), action

something like that but i mean "navigate"

Do you want those words for buttons or just for menu and "Alternative Text"

cause f.e. Start in the German Firefox edition = "In der Adressleiste eingegebene Adresse laden"

But can you load pictures from the mozilla firefox of you computer so i can check them by myself too?
With "Print Screen" well if you don''t know where is this button. Look at you keyboard where is the button Enter look right where is Insert look up and here you are there is the Print Screen button.

Go = "Gehen"
Stop = "Stoppen"

No "Go" is not "gehen"
"gehen" means "to walk"

so I would translate "go" with "laden" (meaning "load").

And Stop with "Stop"

But actually, every German or Swiss or Austrian guy understands Go and Stop...

so i have to write

Laden
Stop

if you mean the "start" like "load (page)", then I'd say yes.

Stop is Stop, you can leave that, yes.

Edith: you may download firefox, IE, safari or what ever in install in in German.
There you would find lots of expressions...

"URL für Lieblings " in english mean Url for favourite?
and also for to give an example for to understand what i mean with the Go button.Well if you see in Internet Explorer there is a button which when you click it your webbrowser navigate.

"url for favourite" = Link zu Favoriten hinzufügen (if you mean: add url to favorits)

the "go" button would mean "Seite laden" (load page).

what function do you mean with "url for favourite", I don't get it...
