As Google is of no help this time, I'd be grateful if someone named a couple of good websites on which I can look for and book a bus ticket in Germany (I'm interested in Köln - Stuttgart route). Thanks a grand in advance!

Bus routes in Germany are relatively rare.

The easiest, but not the cheapest, way to travel is by train.

But you can also have a look at some car passenger websites.

Why do you want to travel by bus?

Thank you for your help. But, well, now it seems that I'll most probably need a bus connection Stuttgart - Bad Urach. Yet, the websites you posted do not have Bad Urach on the lists. What should I do now? Train? I do not speak German fluent and I can't understand the websites which don't have English translation.
Thanks!

Train will be the easiest way. I just looked it up at www.db.de, you need to change the train one time, pay 10 € and you will travel for an hour. Quite cheap and comfortable, I think. If you need any help, just write back here :)
