Subject: Headed to Cologne

Will be in Cologne next week Monday-Thursday.

Any specific restaurants or things to do at night that i should look into? My days will be consumed with work.

As far as I remember there's carnival for almost the whole next week in Cologne. Be prepared for a shitload of drunken people.

Apart from that I can't help you with any suggestions where to go as I know nothing about Cologne :)

Probably his first and last time in Germany under these circumstances. ^^

It's a kind of mixture between Mardi Gras, Spring Break and st Patricks Day^^

People are wearing strange costumes, drink a lot and you can see some parades in the streets.

Most of the restaurants and bars will be overcrowded. On Monday is a great parade around the "Kölner Dom". On Wednesday everything will be over.

If you like overcrowded bars with lots of people and lots of alcohol, you should go out on monday evening ;)
