Subject: Life in Germany
- 1
Hi guys
I am an old sokker spammer from international forum (maybe some of you will remember me, or maybe not.. doesnt matter anyway :D ).
I would like to ask you about your country (actually living in Germany) because most of the people who come to work in germany (from serbia, croatia, bosnia.. etc) says its amazing, you have great job (meaning not too much of the physical work), great money.. basically they want to say they are in heaven. Somehow I believe that it isnt sooo great :D.
My questions are:
1. How is education in Germany?
Does EVERY student can EASILY find a job while studying at the university (I dont mean job like barman or such sh*ts but a real job for his education), or it is only if a professors have a good relationships with companies and those companies really need people to work (like IT companies)... like in Bosnia :)
Also, when you get a new bachelor, can (s)he (without any job experience) easily find a GOOD (not too stressfully but also with good salary :D) job OR it is find any job just to make some money and keep looking for better companies?
2. How is your salary?
I can see that your average sallary is ~2200€ so it is not my question, my question is does it worth that money (stress? physical? too much work? ..etc) and how much money can you save per month (after you pay the bills, rents.. etc). Also how much time (in years) do you need to buy a flat or make a house?
3. How is food there?
I dont mean it as a tourist :D. Is it cheap/expensive and do you MOSTLY buy it from somewhere or cook at your house?
Same question about clothes.. cheap/expensive and do you fix it after it rips or simply buy a new one?
4. What do you think about people from balkan, are we lazy or hardworking, do you like our look (especially our girls :D) .. do we stink? :D
Thank you for your time and greetings to all!

1. No, as a student you rarely get a decent paid job in the area you are studying. Students who have to work usually work in the Service industry or manual labour. Second question also a no, germans are famous for their hardworking mentality, that might not any longer be 100% true, but the 80% left are usually enough stress for the average foreigner.
2. All depends on your area of study and in which region or city you work.
3. Depends, eating out in bigger cities is usually not particularly cheap.
4. Germans are actually not very prejudice towards other cultures or countries in comparison to other nations. You will not find them as welcoming as ppl from the balkan at first but that quickly changes when you get to know them better.
