Subject: Need help

Hello,
sorry I dont speak french so dont kill me :) in september I am going to France for vacation, I want to spend some time in Nice and then go to Paris for few days. My question is how to travel from Nice to Paris. All trains I found are TGVs for crazy prices, is there some other "more budget" option? I would appreciate some link with book options to order tickets in advance... Thanks a lot. Btw. if you have some tips what to see in Nice, let me please know :)
