Subject: PSG
Hi guys, I'm really happy that PSG finally starts to buy players like Guily and Makelele. Both of them are little bit older (especially Makelele). I really like Giuly, he's fast and Paris need another winger, not only Rothen. But I'm not sure if Makelele can play his standards even in his 35's... Last season he won't play much in Chelsea. I have a 3 questions:
1. What do you think, who will be the 4th midfielder in the line? (along with Guily, Makelele and Rothen)
2. Which striker PSG get to replace Pauleta (Oliviera?)
3. Does Paris gets some defender to replace Traore and Digard?
And do you have any news, what kind of players Paris want? Does have the club enought money for more players now?

D'apres ce que j'ai lu a droite a gauche, Gudjohnsen a boudé le championnat de france, et a refuser l'OM et le PSG. Oliveira il y a Lyon aussi dessus, donc sa va etre tendu pour Paris.
La piste la plus chaude je pense que c'est Pizzaro, mais on sais jamais ce qui peut se passer...

bah pour lyon en fait ça dependra de Baros non? si il reste je suis pas sur qu'ils recrutent un nouvel attaquant.

Oui effectivement Lyon sa va dépendre de Baros... ou de Fred.
Fred est trop interessé par l'argent, il va attendre la fin de son contrat pour toucher une bonne prime a la signature de son nouveau contrat.

C'est une possibilité... En meme temps comme l'as dis M'Bami il y a peu, il vaut mieux ressigner quand un joueur est en fin de contrat. Car si il se blesse pour longtemps en fin de saison, apres il n'aura plus de club la saison suivante...

I'am pretty sure makélélé would handle the whole season.
For our midfield we have several possibilities : Séssegnon is the offensive solution, he could organize our offensive plays as a n10 even if he is more considered as a n°8.
Chantôme/Clement are the défensive solutions, IMO Chantome is a better player than Clement because he is a more complete player.
Thereford we have Bourillon who used to play N°6 or in defense.
Le Guen will have to make hard choices.
You can't replace Pauleta 1 for 1.
PSG is in touch with Jimmy Briand (Rennes) but the whole offensive tactic will change.(i guess)
We have Hoarau (great prospect From Le Havre), he appears as a potential starter especially if we can't buy any other stiker.
Digard was a midlefielder and Traoré didn't have any kind of impact on our défense ( he was loan last season).
So Sahko should have more games but we definitely need an other central defender (Thuram ?)
We are looking for a central D and a striker.
We sold Diané (7m) and Digard (5) and bought Sésségon (8) Giuly (2.5). As we had offer 10M for Briand and Wiltord, IMO we should have around 15m for the recruitement.
(numbers are an average estimation).

hmm, Thuram (36), Wiltord (34)... already Giuly (32) and Makelele (35), Rothen (30)... all big names over 30, I think is not a good solution to have a team full of veterans. PSG have also some young and good players like Chantome (20) or Ngoyi (20) but they are not a leaders of a team. I think it will be good to buy some kind of star player at the age cca 24, and keep him for few seasons in his life form...
and another question, or idea... Do you think, PSG can play asi Juventus few seasons before? They play with 2 defensivne midfielders (Vieira & Emerson) and 2 wingers, who helped to attackers (Camoranesi & Nedved). Do you think we can play as Giuly - Chantome - Makelele - Rothen, and it can work? Without central offensive playmaker?

We have this season a more balanced team between youngs and veterans, having too youngs players is not a good thing as we saw last year.
Youngs will learn faster with good vets around them.
We need Xp in keys situations, how many times last year although we were leading we finally lost a ton of matchs ( Nice 2-3, Toulouse equalized at 89e 1-1 ect...).
We have a more talented team then last year.Sounds good for me but will see.
We just lost N'Gog for Liverpool.
