Last time around, we made the quarterfinals of the MWC, losing 0-1 to a late goal against Uruguay who went on to win the tournament. We'll give it a good go again this year and hopefully the draw is kinder to us than the World Cup.

That result qualified us for the U21 WC, due to overlapping schedules, but we were outclassed there and got thoroughly thrashed (0-5, 1-3, 1-4).

I'm opting not to play in the U21 WC this time as we just don't have the player base to succeed there. Those results do nothing to help our ranking which in turn isn't helping us in the WC draws.

Instead I'll be looking for friendlies and hopefully be able improve on our current ranking of 51.
