Cup games on tonight!

Rested my 1st team Sunday with this game in mind, wanting to put the hammer down! Cant wait for tonight hoping my team dominate and no cards and injuries are on the table tonight.

Testing something new in the midfield with player placement but nothing drastic though just wanting to see the effect of minor changes in positioning

My trainees are playing tonight. We're training playmaking this week, so the defs are playing as mids and the mids are playing as defs.

It worked well with my 1st team against Jackpool in the league. Don't know how the youngsters will fare though; their skills aren't exactly great.

My new keeper will get his first game though, so maybe he'll keep them out of trouble. Shouldn't have any trouble with the Bulldogs though. They're fresh off a hiding from Dreams.

HAHA after tonight things gonna get interesting in the draw, just want the games to get done now

Manged a 0-9 drubbing of Jackpool and facing him in the league again next week, interesting now, facing Nazguls11 next and i narrowly escaped a 2-1 victory in the fixture earlier the season so bit on my nerves but some HUGE games to come next week, i expect allot of key players will be rested on Sunday

I think the draw is determined by league placings:
1 vs 4 and 2 vs 3

They used to do it like that but they have changed it a bit , what they do is lets say there is a pool of teams going through: 8 teams, they will take the 1st half of them best 4 of them using last season league rating: 1.2.3.4 and then they will use the remaining 4 and assign them randomly to the other 4 not according to there league rating, if that makes sense

Ok! So, since we finished 1st and 2nd in the league last year, we couldn't meet in the semi's, but whether we faced Dreams or Nazguls was random.

That is correct! Or that is my understanding of the rule change they did

Randomness is always good.

I like the way they did it in BT for all the matches from the start to be just random.

It makes it all interesting from the start.

It did make it interesting also love the random, but not always the best but sure gives weaker teams a better chance

Sheesh, what a match. Really thought I'd win it after the first period of play, even when you went 1-0 up. Thought my defensive tactics were awful though; same issue as with the NT. Got to sort that out.
