Greece are quite clearly a bigger nation, with more depth in their squad. For now though, it seems that our NT is stronger than theirs.
The keepers are about the same, though theirs seems a touch stronger while the reverse applies to defending. We look much stronger in the shooting and passing departments. In terms of marks, we seem to average almost 10 points better than them.
In their last 5 full NT matches, Greece were soundly beaten by Turkey (38th), lost narrowly to Venezuela (48th) and Japan (63rd), drew with Norway (29th) and thrashed Bolivia (68th).
In our last 5 full NT matches, we were soundly beaten by Australia (34th), lost narrowly to Iceland (60th), won comfortably against Slovenia (44th) and Senegal (67th) and thrashed Honduras (81st).
While we do look a little stronger on paper, we cannot afford to take Greece lightly. We must put those disappointing last two results behind us and get back on the winning trail.
From what I can tell, Greece will be missing two fairly important players, a regular midfielder and a striker than often plays as sub, through injury and suspension.
From our side, Behr's supension is up but he got injured midweek so remains out of the team and Rodrigues is still injured, so we're also missing two key players.

Players considered for the team
Keepers
Lathan is still the clear first choice. The choice for the sub is wide open though with all of Wuest, Skosana, Roberts, Zwane and Hartley in contention. Form is the likely deciding factor. Roberts is improving rapidly and looks destined to take over the number one jersey at some stage.
Defenders
Goliath, Yohane, Ngaduana, Baloyi, and Mabotsa are the big guns (plus the injured Rodrigues). Mabotsa's form is still low which could bring some fringe players into the picture. Those fringe players include Mulekelayi, Solomos, Mbambo and Rapeane.
Midfield
Mabizela, Chacho and Madigage are the core players. Makhanya, Westerhof, Lekhuleng, Khambule and Shongwe are the fringe players.
Strikers
Permall remains our best striker. A number of players are in contention for the position as his partner up front. These include Juwayeyi, Mugeyi, Portgieter, Khanyile, and Makhaye. Behr and Lakay are injured. There are some interesting contenders working their way into the picture including Mahule, Sait, Arries and Matshitse.
