Subject: [NT] Notjez

Hello South-Africans !

Here I will try to tell you something more about me, my candidature, my strong points and my future plans.


Who Am I ?

My name is Tom De Rybel, born 21 years ago. At the moment i'm still studying in Ghent (Belgium) in my second year Public Relations.
I have several hobbies: - Playing football, not in a team but just for fun.
- Watching a lot of football.
- Playing table tennis for more then 10 years

That's more than enough about myself because I think you're not really looking for a date in this topic :p


Why am I a candidate for this elections ?

First of all because I love you country. I visited it for 2 weeks and it really was the best experience of my life. Sweet sweet memories :)
Secondly because I'm looking for new challenges in Sokker.


My strong points

- Experience: Shortly I will start my 7th season as manager of my own team. Currently playing in 3th division where I just missed the title.

- NT-experience: I have been one season in the NT-crew of Belgium as Def-scout. That is where I really learned a lot about this game, discussing the tactics with about 10 very experienced managers + the best manager ever in sokker: Hellsangel.

- Tactical knowledge: Since I started with sokker I was especially fascinated by the thousands of tactics you can make here. Just check my matches and you will see tactics with a lot of work behind it.

- My language knowledge: I think it's really important to have a good communication with the South-African managers. You guys are very important.


What are my plans ?

- Creating a forum for which only the crewmembers will get access. This should be a place to discuss tactics, upcoming matches, players and youth.

- Try to create a future for the NT. Spotting all the youngsters and make a survey of all the youthcoaches in SA. There are only 11 users, so we must make sure they all have minimum a brilliant youthcoach.

- Try to qualify for the WC. This will be the hardest task, but i will not give up when this doesn't succeed. In fact, qualifying a country with only 11 users would be a miracle (MarcL almost did it..)

- Making a good crew with experienced managers to support me. Off course i think MarcL should be in there. If anyone wants to join it, be my guest and send me a SK-mail.

What skills needs a central defender mostly, in your eyes? And a defender on the side?

Normally only south-africans are allowed to ask questions, else we get a discussion between candidates and that's clearly not the meaning of the questions ;)

but anyway

All players will need min solid stamina

Central def:
Most important: Defender and pace
important: technique and playmaker
less important (but would be a nice bonus): passing


Wingback:
Most important: Defender and pace
important: technique, playmaker and passing
