Subject: Crunch time!
A very tight season has come to and end. Congratulations to Blue Bulls and Joburg Vikings on their championship victory and promotion. Sad to see Mpumulanga Black Aces going down (one of the best managers in my opinion), but they should bounce right back up as MarcL pointed out. Hopefully I will get some decent training done in the upcoming season. My two primary trainees didn't exactly "xcell" in training this season.
Congrats to Blue Bulls.
My team has been rather constant for the past few seasons and the players have now grown.
I will now have to let go of about 2 or 3 players who are likely to be J. Chacho, Westerhoef and another yet to be decided.
Need some younger mid trainees.
I think I have not been doing a good job with my team tactically uin being more predictable and also not looking at other teams past matches as well as their strengths.
Now that i have internet at home I can only promise to change that as I have not always had enough time whilst at work to really set up the teams the way I really want them to play and even forgetting at times to set up the line-up.
Will have a look at my squad over the weekend and advise the wholesale changes which will take place.
Possibly will buy: 2 mid trainees, 1 defender, 1 striker. But the cash will be tight seeing that the good players i want are expensive.

Right now this is my first post whilst at home :). Really an experience for me considering I have had to always log into the many games I play whilst also hooping I dont get seen or the site gets blocked by company IT department. Not really a luxury. Its one of those things one should have but at times situation dont permit. Seems things are improving in this country hey :)
Back to SK.
I am looking for just mid trainees.
How much do you think these 2 players might fetch on the market:
Jacky Chacho, age 31
value: 7 462 000 R
wage: 101 000 R
formidable form
bookings:
formidable stamina tragic keeper
adequate pace adequate defender
very good technique magical playmaker
unearthly passing weak striker
Tebogo Westerhof, age 30
value: 7 492 000 R
wage: 81 000 R
magical form
formidable stamina hopeless keeper
outstanding pace weak defender
formidable technique magical playmaker
brilliant passing average striker

Most of the oldies are now up for sale.
Shaking up things and hope to get some good players. But at their ages, it will be difficult to get enough cash to get good players for them.

You'll be back, I'm sure. Keep winning matches, improving your players with training, and turning out youngsters from your junior school.
Being in the lower leagues at times has the advantages of not being affected much in how you train players.
In the high league at times not often though you are forced to change a tactic which may then affect your training for a few weeks.
I believe by training and keeping watch on youth school you will go places. I actually have survived as a club due to the youth school. That is were most of my income comes from and not gate receipts or players I have trained.

New season starting again this weekend! Good luck to all the new guys and back to normal with Bulls vs Durban clash first up :)
I really have to figure out how to beat you. That last match was depressing.
Your strikers were playing as mids. One of them was sent off after 29 minutes. That gave me the chance to dominate, and we did: 12 shots to 1. Result? We lost 0-1! All we needed was a draw to take the title.

Nah man that was just bad luck and you get that sometimes. But i do admit i was really lucky to get the win in the end. I do feel you have the better team, but on the day anything can happen.
New season new challange :) Lets see what happens Sunday.
I really need to offload a striker but cant seem to get a decent trainee, the longer it take the longer my team sux

The Bulls got off to a flyer when beating City 3-1, despite going a goal down after only 3 minutes. City had the better of the match statistically but had no answer to Vaidginas who bagged a hat-trick from only 4 strikes at goal.
The new boys to the Premiership, Joburg Vikings, got a taste of what it's like at this level. They who thumped 6-0 in a one-sided affair by Jackpool and will have to strengthen their squad markedly if they are to avoid being rooted at the bottom of the table.
Rovers and Chiefs clashed in an exciting encounter which saw 28 shots at goal, Rovers dominating overall but going down 1-3. Having Lathan in goal and Mapela spearheading their attack gave Chiefs the edge.
Dreams had to resort to two goals in the final eight minutes to come from behind and beat Nazguls, the premiership bot, 3-2. They had the better of the encounter overall and would have been disappointed not to get the three points. Nazguls will be a competitive outfit this season and even if the likes of Jackpool, Rovers and Chiefs manage to beat them, they're unlikely to be relegated any time soon.

I could not believe the scoreline when I saw it. After I saw Nazguls line up in the previous match and also the injury I thought I would just stick with last season tactic and take it easy. When I started to read report I could not believe I was at one time 2-1 down with so few minutes to go. Will watch the full match video from work tomorrow but already I am seeing some weak spots. Thought the defenders I bought were good but seems some positional issues need to be addressed.
With Bulls and Durban in the next matches I can not afford such complacency.

I paid ooodles for that foreigh youngster couple of season ago and him bagging a hattrick just shows what class he is. But then again only week 1 of 14, as seen last season you dont win the title in week 1. Some interesting results going to be a surprizing season that is for sure!
Well another tough season comes to an end this weekend. Congratulations to Bluebulls who have wrapped up another title. Even if Durban City beat them in the final match goal difference will see Bluebulls win yet another Castle Premiership title (not unlike their reality rugby counterparts).
All other positions on the table seems fixed, except for yours truly and Kaizer Chiefs who will battle it out for 6th place. While Rovers United have the slight goal advantage, Kaizer Chiefs is littered with National players and will surely be favourite to retain their spot. The deciding factor though might be the fact that Kaizer Chiefs recently turned bot and their tactics might be comprimised. Nevertheless an interesting final day awaits these two teams. Below this battle on the log lies a bruised and battered Joburg Vikings team that has been humiliated and will be rightly relegated and while it is not official yet I think it is merely a matter of time that we can welcome back National team coach Witbank and his Mpumalanga Black Aces squad to the Castle Premiership. My mouth is already watering at the prospect of a extremely tough upcoming season with strong teams accross the board.
As far as the other leagues go we have some up and coming managers in:
Usmalger Usmistes111
lamido death
man united city bowwow
ultimate chiefs mm5574
Victory Ahmed17
CeresFC Znder
wanted_boys ruben.wanted
Hellenic FC coenraadvliet
sekamaneng y stars berbatov111
Crusader Lenol
OGneslo neslo12

Logati FC Nickyl
Lets hope these users stay with us for a long time and that they organise their teams well so that we can build a tough league system and exceptional national database of players.

Great summary, Schalla. All the best for your crunch match against Chiefs.
