we have beaten austria 2:0 (CLICK), after 2 goals of John Behr.

in the second game in Group C England lost with Belgium 3:6.

The non-funny version of the pre-match report! :D

This Saturday, the Devils will be entering the arena together with the Republic of South Africa, but thanks to our number of points, we're in a large and comfortable bed, out of which we can only tumble if we lose with more than 6 goals deficit en de English get rid of the Austrians. When we draw, we win the group and the bed gets filled with female slaves!

We're missing probably only one player, one time international Jean-Luc Verboven. That's not so bad, especially since Koen Allirol could be returning. The lightly hurt players boast WK-topscorer Timmy Verbauwhede, who might be healthy this saturday.

The manager of South Africa, Ekstraklasa coach blais likes to exploit the speed of his wingers Ntsu Lekhuleng and Samuel Mabizela. Striker John Behr hit the net four times this tournament. The African selection has no hurt players nor suspensions.
SOUTH AFRICAN REPUBLIC

This nation is known for the now gone apartheid, Nelson Mandela, tourism, all kinds of hopping mamals and the diamond.

Famous cities:
Kaapstad, Johannesburg, the capital city Tshwane (once known as Pretoria), Bloemfontein, Kimberley, Durban, Pietermaritzburg, Port Elizabeth, Nelspruit, Port Nolloth en Mossel Bay!


South Africa is also known for its awe-inspiring nature: deserts, a kind of salt dish near Port Golloth (in the North West), elephants, a hippopotamus (at least, that's what Man_of_Herm thinks), cascades and forests in Mpumalanga, rivers like Tugela, Oranjerivier, Molopo, Limpopo. Also you can find; rhinos, zebra`s, Cape Agulhas (the most southern tip of Africa), the Injasuti (3446 m), Prince Edward Island, Marion Island, and last but not least: penguins!

Between all these hippos and elephants, Man_of_Herm wasn't thinking of many a female beauty!

BACKGROUND

Man_of_Herm won't accept his own fate! Sure, Hellsangel is a good superior, but MoH barely has any social rights! He's still ill but doesn't get any support from the tyrant that we call our national manager! He didn't even want to pay people to take pictures in South Africa with the money of the NT! ;)


This gentleman does have a slight chronic pain in his forehead...

Good morning South Africa! My name is Man_of_Herm and I write previews for NT-matches of Belgium. I hope you will enjoy my text, or my NT-coach will shoot me!

I want to tell you about my beautiful country because I’m afraid you all know nothing about Belgium. And if you know something, I’m sure you know things that are incorrect!

Well, let’s start with our king! Some say our king is Albert II, but we all call him Ronny! Of course he is only king of Belgium. King of the world is this man!

CITYYS
I hope you have no problems with my Pidgin-English. Citys is not correct, but cityys sounds a bit too Swazilandish to me…
Okay, our capital city is the famous Brussels. Our king Ronny lives in a very beautiful palace!
We have also big roads! The E40 is our biggest road, from the wonderful city of Liège to our amazing coast!
Our second importantest city is Antwerp, with a very large harbour! Unfortunately, Antwerp is also known for a sort dangerous, racist, fascist organisation…

HISTORY
Well, around 700, English Christian priests comed to us, to Christianise us! Of course, we did the right thing! The year 1882 was very important for us, because then we learned to write! When the Germans invaded us in 1914, we tried to stop them with walls: the Ichtegemse muur! The wall did not help us, but that was not our mistake! How on earth could we know Germans can jump? The first Belgian who went abroad, was this young man! He was the first Belgian who drived a car! I said we killed Christians, but we allow Christianity since 1968! This is our biggest cathedral! Of course, priest and people stay outside! One cannot go into a stone! I mean: WE cannot go in a stone! Maybe your scientists can, but when our most courageous man try, they all get wounded…

TV, MUSIC, CULTURE,…
We have one marvellous TV-channel, and that is Willy’s en Marjetten! Our famousest singer is of course the great Eddy Wally, the voice of Europe, who is even popular in China!

And of course, we also have Miss-elections! One of our beautifullest girls is La Esterella, but also Jenny Tanghe is very nice – not to forget: gorgeous Annemie Struyff.

OUR NT-CREW
Lada’s and gentlemen, I’m proud to introduce you to the life of our crew! My big boss, Hellsangel lives in this modest house. He’s good chief, he let his entire crew live in a true palace! tbeirke and paavo are scouts. Maqoma gives advice to our big chief. Nickie manages our NT-database, mattn and Simon le Bon are organizers of our betting competition. jelboo translate my Dutch texts to real English, pietrogoal also does things about communication, and this is me.

I hope you like my text about Belgium and hope you will visit us soon. You are safe in our country, we don’t eat humans any more since 1997!

NEXT MONDAY

To proof we are not totally backwards: we know it’s Monday Christmas! But we are not sure about the day of the Monday before: was that day New Year or already Easter? And however most of us go on 1 January to this place, we all wish you a Mary Christmas!
