Well, it's that time of the season...NT coach elections!

We haven't had a great season, but it wasn't bad either. We had two draws where we dominated the match, while the only real disappointment was our losses to Chile and therefore not qualifying for the World Cup.

With that first season under the belt, I'm confident that we will improve. This season, the focus will be on the U21 World Cup and the Mini World Cup (those that didn't qualify for the World Cup). Both competitions will allow me to prepare for World Cup qualifying the season following that.

The tactics for the first team are in place now. The U21 matches will allow me to test some variations and we shouldn't expect to go too far in that competition with our lack of depth. I'm hopeful of a good showing in the Mini World Cup though.

So, what can I say? I'd appreciate your votes so that I can continue with the work I've started. My ultimate objective would be to qualify for, and compete in, the next World Cup.

I'm the owner of Ngabo Rodrigues, defender of South Africa NT. So, I have some contact with MarcL. What can I say is, at least, he is always talking with me about the player, trying to know his evolution and helping me with train projects.

It's election time again!

As I've written on the NT page, I believe we've had quite a good season. The NT lost narrowly by a late goal in the QF of the Mini WC to the eventual tournament winners, and the U21's qualified for the WC despite being outmatched.

I'm busy preparing the team to start the WC qualifiers this coming season. When I took this job originally, my first game in charge was the first WC qualifier and it didn't go well. I believe I'm better prepared this time and hope to get us back into the WC.

In the background, I've built up a spreadsheet of a bit more than 200 players and regularly keep it updated with current skills. I also approached two of our local coaches for their expertise in their respective training areas. The hard work is paying off, and I'd like to be able to continue the job.

This whole season is taken up by WC qualifying, with only a few scattered weeks to be filled by friendlies.

I'll be doing my best to qualify us for the WC next season, but the odds are stacked against us.
