Subject: [NT] Database

Thanks to rym3k, we now have a NT database other than my Excel spreadsheet. :)

Players can be submitted using either SokkerViewer or Firefox.

1) Download Firefox Browser
2) Download Greasemonkey (a Firefox plug-in)
3) Download the extension at http://sokker.domiciano.eng.br/sokkerntdatabase.user.js

To submit a player, just go to the player page and click the South African flag. This will open a new screen where you can indicate what training you are doing, as well as make comments. Click the `accept` button to complete the process.

You should give the link to the site it is on, so people can add their players manually if they can't/won't download firefox :)

Yep, would have done so except that feature isn't implemented yet.

It should be ready in a day or two, though I think rym3k will be going the route of allowing the NT managers to update so non-Firefox people can sk-mail me the stats as they've always done, and I'll update the database.

I'll confirm when it's ready.

Nope. If you are using Firefox, you must enter them. Otherwise I'll enter them manually.

38 players in there so far. My Excel spreadsheet has over 200 players, mostly u21's, so quite a way to go yet.

The database extension should work. Maybe you need to download the current version or something.

Anyway, sk-mail is fine. A lot of people still use/prefer that method. :)
