For midfielders - i think the same, but pace is also quite important, especially in destruction, I mean taking ball from opponent's players :)

Yes.. But pace isn't so usefull like passing or technique imho :)

You told that playmaking and passing is the most important skills for midfielders. And when midfielder has very high playmaking he would hardly ever use his technique for go through opponent, I don't know how call on it :)
And I think that pace is more important than technique, midfielder shold take ball from opponent and pass it corectly to forwards :)
