I have 22 young players in my team and it wasn't such a big problem to buy them, I mean that they didn't cost me a lot. Of course - they're not all big stars, but they win matches in Polish Cup without a problem :)

You could sell your old players and buy some younsters - they will probably much worse than selled players, but you would earn a lot of money after 1-2 seasons training pace. And your the best players will have great pace of course :)
