It was also Jaseliunas' first match. Good rating (51), although he sometimes had difficulties with the Eesti left front man. Especially when Jaseliunas had to conquer the ball form behind.

Some more pace and then as much defender trainings as possible will make him stronger. Some randompops will do him good.

Good result for Lietuva NT, there are some great players who will do very well in the U21 WC.

It was eventually a very successful match for us. We had quite much luck, my tactic was rubbish :P 3 defenders weren't enough for the strong forwards of Eesti and their winger was left without any attention... Our wingers weren't given much space by the Estonian wing-backs but they still managed to give some really nice assists. :) So the players acted extremely well despite my tactics

Unfortunately we wouldn't have deserved the draw in my opinion, so I'm glad for Slovensko. The interesting fact is that we had very similar tactics, almost identical :D The difference was probably that their wing-back Mäsiar covered our winger Varaneckas much more effectively than Jonyla managed to stop their winger Liška. It was clearly my tactical mistake and I take full responsibility. I did try to place our wing-backs more widely so they would cover the wings, but Jonyla was still a bit far from the edge of the pitch to stop Liška. Placing the wing-backs more on the wing also created a gap between them and central defenders and it helped Meixner to break through. And if you give a forward like Meixner just a little more space, then you're dead. :) I'm now smarter by that :P I was really happy for Korsakas though, he had only played once before for our NT this season, but he made a perfect performance with the two goals.

Up next week is Australia, hopefully a U21 match

Great match Sillu. The match engine was weird. I didn't see the keeper :D

After the red card Jaseliunas did what he had to do. I'm very glad with his performance. The goals weren't his fault.Conquered the ball and also managed not to kick it away badly. The yellow card was necessary otherwise it could have been a goal foor Australia! Some acceptable passes instead. Will have incredible pace in 2 weeks.

The tactic was okay. The wingers hurted Australia a lot. This U21 takes benefit from a 4-man defence.

There are some U21-players with unearthly/divine technique (like Belgian Deroo). So good defence training is necessary this season, in order to do well in the U21 WC.

Basically Miasojedovas could get some time in the next matches, I didn't know you're ok with that. :) He's already quite close to our U21 NT level

A good training for Jaseliunas is vital because we have only four decent defenders in U21, so they have to be at their best. ;) Yes, there are several monster strikers in the U21 teams this season and I'm putting my hopes on Jaseliunas. :D
