strange how there are no "locals" chatting in this thread, are they interested in their own NT side?

It's a pity that the interest into lietuva's NT is mainly coming from foreigners :/

I have to admit that I've lost most of the interest myself....
but the biggest problem is the number of users... you can't expect community of 20~ users (I'm almost sure about this number...) to be active...

You have 173 users, Australia has 111 users and has LOTS of posts every week.

I guess they have more than 20 active users, that log in at least 1 time per two days... most of those 173 we have log in once a month or never at all...

I just can't understand how you managed to loose midfield while playing 1 attacker... my suggestion is this... if you play 5 defs, never play def/mid, and miskys was useless today, touched the ball few times only...

I don't know if that victory was luck or not but I can't understand either how we lost the midfield with a 541.

What I do know is that our goalkeeper was rubbish today. His awful form made him even slower and I think Hrvatska hadn't scored the first to goals hadn't it been Valutavicius struggling to get hold of the ball. I also know that I made a bad mistake by placing the striker too low.

In the 25th minute the game could have been played. Lietuva did have some luck then.

But what a great striker Lietuva has. Croatia is a great opponent and I think Sillu did well to cover the wing sides and to speculate on its wonderful striker.

Croatia was one of the most terrifying adversaries in the eighth finals, great job Sillu!

so why the fcuk do you play low form players? thats not the first time... As for goalkeeper i value pace even more than goalkeeping skill itself at the high levels, (and at low form pace is damaged the most), just for example, 1 more skill in goalkeeping may give you around 3% more to save a shot if it is savable (so lets say it becomes 1.5% more, to be saved, those numbers is just my guess), and 1 more skill in pace surely gives you more than that, as you gain quite a big chance to even avoid the shot + you still have a chance to save it...
it is always best to try to find a balanced goalkeeper, but playing low formed=low paced goalkeepers is always a big disaster...

I thought you had a keeper problem?

We have 4 decent keepers:

Kalenikas - tragic form
Putrinskas - solid form
Valatka - solid form
Valutavicius - adequate form

I am almost sure that there should be some worse in skills but very high form keepers, who would perform better, in my opinion
