The big-scale loss to Belgium was more or less expected :)
However, I'm unsatisfied with the work of our goalkeeper (another damn slow fella but we don't have much of a choice) and the passing skills of our defenders. Unfortunately there's nothing I can do about it. It wasn't too catastrophic though as their defensive work was quite solid considering that they had to face probably the best U21 striker in the world and his dangerous companions. Maybe MagiC wants to share information about Stefan Dossche with us? :))
I'm not completely happy about Mironas Vuičekas either although he gave the wonderful assist for our only goal today. I don't know why he kept passing the ball back to the wing-back Meilutis Kuniskis who didn't exactly have the most accurate passes today (to put it into words in the least harmful way :P). The offensive midfielder Rafikas Geisleris seemed to have stayed out of the play too unfortunately.
Our strikers didn't have much of a chance against Belgian defenders. Both Rabinovičius and Martinkenas had only one opportunity and luckily at least one of them scored. Martinkenas has a bit better technique and pace but his scoring abilities may let him down too often.

Thanks for the game. This showes you guys haven't got the same quality player-wise like we do. The low number of users is the cause for this most likely.
Still I thought it was a good effort. Zlobas was really hurting us from time to time!
Ciao,
Hells
ps: Steffen "El Bomba" Dossche is great. He'll probably become better then Deroo is you ask me..

Zlobas had a lot space on the wing.
He did not have his best day though.
Dribbled your defenders but had noone to pass the ball.
Most passes he got where into his back as well, so he had to first run back or wait for ball before he could start to run.
Player quality made the difference, lietuva had a more quality tactic in my opinion.

i don't think it's a big secret Dossche's skills, because he isn't a permament NT member and we all know what the final will be - tripple divine att ;) so, if you didn't know:
Steffen Dossche, age: 20
value: 2 932 000 Lt, wage: 24 600 Lt
club: INTER MILAN, country: België
divine form, formidable tactical discipline
weak stamina, hopeless keeper
brilliant pace, weak defender
brilliant technique, weak playmaker
adequate passing, outstanding striker
the match showed a big difference between young players quality. Belgium doesn't have any weak spaces because all team is very strong, not like the NT of Lithuania..
cheers ;)

Came up with that nickname this morning. :p
And just recently I've found a new nick for Deroo. His previous one was "The Invincible", but now Enzo Deroo is better known as "The Incredribble" :p
loop: I was testing out some stuff today, like how good our wingbacks are when playing against a strong winger..

Hi Sillu,
Nikas was a little disaster in defence. Considering their opponents, Uzolas and Jaseliunas weren't too bad. Uzolas was the best defender on the pitch for Lietuva.
Jaseliunas was good, but made a few technical mistakes. When he's old enough he will have average technique I think, but as a double divine player with hopefully solid PM and good passing (if the random pops I expect will take place) I think he would be a better defender on the wing. He could stop strong wingers over there, and he wouldn't intercept and lose (due to his technique) so many passes. On the wing the consequences of one bad ball control aren't that disastrous as a matter of fact.
I don't know your opinion about this, but I'm curious about it. I will still be as critical towards my player as towards any other.

I don't know how things will be in the future but right now he needs to play in the center of defense as he's one of our best defenders :)
For sure in the U21 NT he's a top player. I was wondering which place he could eventually take when he's double divine at 24y.
Damn that sucks... :P
We don't have anyone else who'd fit so well on the high winger position

Lietuva wins 6-1 against Singapore. Good tactic. Sillu used a new defender in the right back position.
Next week the U21-tournament starts :o)

For Lithuania and Scotland yes. But I think France and Holland will go through for sure. In U-21 matches larger user basis in very important.
Lietuva starts against Scotland. Winning the first match will be very important. I agree that the number of users affects the U21-NT's in particular.
Good luck to Lietuva :o)
