Subject: [NT] World-Cup Quali

i was just curious about the World Cup Qualifying Stats to see who are emerging as the stars of the tourney so far, so had a quick scan through the stats for each group.

i was very plesantly surprised to see that Tanislovas Varaneckas is up there making a name for himself!

- He is the current leader in Assists with: 13

- His average rating of 78.8 makes him:

The 8th best outfield player (including Polish players), and
The Best outfield player (ignoring Polish players) in the whole qualifying tournament!!!


hope he can keep it up :D

I was in holidays this week...
But now I will write again. This week we will play against Belgie. Its a nice friendly.
In the next weeks I will test a few new set-ups and also other players will get their chance.

Why Mitrofanas Samutinas 1401241 isn't in NT ?

There is an easy reason: In the database from sillu he wasn`t...
Now I asked the manager and he will play for our Nationalteam :)

Lietuva : Belgie

This saturday our team will play against Belgie, a really strong oppunent. Kueinskas was happy during the last week, because this will be a good test for the Nationalteam: "The last 4-5 weeks were boring, we played against small countries and won every game with more then 10 goals different. Now it becomes a bit more exciting."

I will play with a completly new tactic, I never played with a similar tactic in my whole sokker-career. But I hope that our players will play a strong match with the new tactical formation.

The set-up will then be there 10 minutes before the match.

We will play with the first team, because its the last good test in the next weeks... After this game, Kueinskas and his team-mates will get a little break. Then will play our younger players in the next 3-4 Group-games. Samutinas returnes in the Nationalteam. I think that he has a great potential and that he will help us. Today also Zlobas and Rabinovicius will get an other chance. I hope that Belgie plays with the first team, because Hellsangel (their coach) wasn`t online yesterday and tomorrow, so he didn`t respond me...

The tactic will be like this:

There is a 3-5-2 or a 5-3-2. The defenders on the wings have to run a lot. They should help in the defense and also go in the offensive actions. Myskis and Kisielus get this job to do. I hope our team will be more compact and play even faster. Varaneckas will play again on the right wing, he is in the form of his life...

GO FOR IT LIETUVA!!!

Unfortunatly Belgie played with a U-21-team. But also this U-21 was so strong, that it was a nice test for our Team! I liked the tactic, and we had a lot of good chances when Varaneckas could run on his wing and bring the ball in the middle. The problem was today the defense, there I have to work... Kueinskas made a bad game today, he had no actions and didn`t score. With Samutinas we found a "lost" player, he will be our second striker on the side from Kueinskas in the important games. There were a few really nice actions from our team, the middfield played well. Also Kisielus and Myskis made a good game, they made also a lot for the offensiv game.

What did you think about the tactic? Is it a posibility for the future or not? Write your opinions :)

So Lietuve draw 2-2 with Belgium, both teams are on the top in sokker world, so there is my question: why Lietuva play with so strong squad against China? Do you really worry about re-match with Danmark? China draw so high with Danmark, because I was away, and I don't have time to change formation, so there is my question, if Lietuva is gonna to play in full squad against China, or you will play with a little bit worse squad (still much better than China) and wait for matches with stronger opponents?

We will play with a very young team :)
Last time was my mistake, normaly I don`t play with the best team against little countries.

Ok, so I don't have any illusion about the result, but maybe younger team, will not win so much. But don't think that China is gonna to lose all next matches, we are hungry for sensation, and we will try something against Malta... Chances are low, but we will try.

Where is the "very young" team? :(

Young squad yes? Have no question... Team which have so good team play in that squad against poor China... Every good manager from countries like Lietuva, give chances for U-21, but no there, because goals are more important... But the most funny is that you tell me you use young players, and you play with oldmen, one player have 24 yeras, rest have 27 or higher it was the oldest NT I ever meet. I don't know what do you want to show me, that I'm worse? Yes, because I don't have players like Lietuva, but I think with this plan of NT, your country became really bad, because players will lose their skills quickly for 2 seasons.

Have nothing to Lietuva, and for another people. As country I like you, because you are polish neighbrough, andbecause of our common history. But this man do something wrong today. I don't know how it looks in another matches, but your NT is really old! I'm really affraid of it, and it will be problem for future.

Since now we are working for a very big aim: In the next World-Cup we want to bring Lietuva in the Semi-Final. For this aim we give everything.

So I'm sure that Lietuva aren't so strong to play semi-final, he write, that you giving all for this aim, and it's a huge mistake. I think, that you can lose after his cadention, because he don't think about future of Lietuva, just about currently succes. It's not good because, he will gone for one season (as he think with succes, and he promote himself like a good manager), but you must know that work with NT is not only good tactic. It's good managering and thinking about future of NT. I knwo what I say, because I'm here in China for 3 seasons, and firstly I want to make some youth schools, and sent some young players to teams, where they can train well. It gives profits, because now China isn't so bad, and we can won with better Viet Nam, and many more teams. So think about next elections, but in my opinion you need someone better for this postition. He call himself experienced, hmm experienced manager don't put the best team against opponents like China...
