Subject: [NT] World-Cup Quali

Lietuva : Malta

This is the second-last Qualigame this season. The WC comes nearer and nearer, and we are ready. The team that will play the World-Cup is together, I have createt a list with 25 players. But this saturday we play against Malta, and I want to use this match to give a few old players the chance to make their last Nationalgame for Lietuva. Tomorrow you can see the "old heros" from your country...

Here is the starting set-up:

For all this players, the match tomorrow will be the last Nationalgame. After that game, they have to leave the Nationalteam and I take only the "World-Cup-Team" into the Nationalteam. So tomorrow at about 15:00 or so you know, if your player runs to the World-Cup :)

so it looks like Tanislovas Varaneckas has maybe sneaked into the World Cup team. Phew!!! i was really worried he would miss out ;)

Varaneckas did it, I can say you this already ;)
And I can also say that the team will be much younger then in this season. I kept the best 16-17 players and the others are 21-24 young players with a big future. I`m sure that we can play a good World-Cup... My aim is still the Semifinal, also if it will be really hard.

No, he won`t be the oldest :)
And I chop off only players if I have younger players that are similar strong or even bether... So Varaneckas will stay until 35 ;)
We have surely a strong team this year. If I think at Varaneckas, Myskis, Kueinskas, Kalenikas, Blabys etc. etc. I think that we can shock the Sokker-World with our team. If the tactic will be good :)

Phuu, 3:2 win from our old-men-team.
I`m happy with the 3 points, and I`m happy too that this wasn`t our World-Cup-Team.

Now I`m looking forward to next week, then will see our best team, against Danmark. A really good test!

Lietuva : Danmark

The last game is this saturday. A draw would make us to the Group-Winners. But its the main-test for the World-Cup, so I want a win, all other wouldn`t be enough. The 26 World-Cup-Players are now in the Nationalteam. I have done the tactic and the set-up. Its the best team I ever set-up in my Sokker-career. I have all the actuell skills from all the 26 players and I have 1 season experience. The situation couldn`t be bether!

I will give you a match-preview the saturday-morning and also the set-up.

The Lietuvan-Team needs also a Talisman for the World-Cup! This Talisman will be a player from a Manager, he doesn`t have to be good, but he has to bring luck ;) And so you can be the happy Talisman-Owner:

The game was a desaster... The other striker could score 4 times from 5 meters!!!! Thats so fu.cking shit!!!!!!! The keeper or the 3 defenders around him couldn`t stop him, thats so far away from the reality. In the other way, our strikers run 4-5 times alone against the keeper and scored only 2-3 times.

I can`t believe it.

Yes we will be... Oh my god, thats bad. The winger from Danmark was perfect. Thats hard, because against Spain, our defense was really strong. Now we are in the 2. pot. But this isn`t so important, because Polska for example is in pot 4!!! It will be luck or badluck in the draw.

Yes, the 3 central ones were all really strong (2 divine and one unearthly).

I have to think about the defensive tactic. In the offens, we played strong and scored 4 times.
I will think about and be ready on the World-Cup.

In my opinion, when facing great opponents, also the left and right defender should have a very high defender skill.

Most strong countries play with a winger, with a very high level of technique + pace. Guys like Zlobas (and stronger players) play on the wing, to hurt the sides of the opponents. Some countries have got wingers with divine technique ...

Belgium for instance, plays with almost 4 divine defenders, just to make sure that every attack from the opponent winger, can be stopped.
