Here you will find all information about the Lietuvan-Nationalteam during the World-Cup. You will also find informations about the Group, the "enemies", the matches and here is also the place to make your answers about the team, tactics, etc.


Lietuva on the World-Cup:

Our Nationalteam is a TOP-10 nation in Sokker. Our Nationalteam was always strong in the past and I want, that the team is strong also in this World-Cup. The qualification was easy, we won (until now) every game. When I became coach from this team, I made me a big aim, and since 1 season I`m now working for this big aim; the WC-Semifinal.

The team will be younger then in the past. A few young players get their chance. In the World-Cup-Team are 3 keepers, 10 defenders, 8 middfielders and 5 strikers. All together, there are 26 players. And these are our players that should bring a medall and honor home to Lietuva:

This will be our 26 players. In the middfield could also be 1-2 changes, but I think that the team will stay.

I see Jaseliunas will join the team. He will be ready (pace+stamina pops are sure by the end of the season; probably also a randompop on PM in one of the next weeks)

Now its election time again. I would really like to be the coach one other season and give all i can to make a good WC!

Good luck Andreasson. In my opinion, the coach who brought a NT to WC finals, should remain. I hope you will be re-elected, it would be the best choice just before WC.

Today we didn`t play a friendly because I didn`t want to risk injuries so near before the World-Cup.
Now we are ready!!!

It's odd that Lietuva doesn't play friendlies before WC. You are facing Eesti and USA in the group stage, quite difficult opponents.

I wonder why someone runs for election and does so apparently have no time or interest for the NT.

It's a pity that Lietuva doesn't play. All other big countries do.

Players with 2 yellow cards could get a third one, and skip the next friendly. So they could start with a clean sheet in WC.

Tactical tests would also be important.

This could have consequences for the elections I think ...

Its really easy.

I wanted to play against big teams like Brazil this week. But they didn`t accept and played against an other team. I didn`t want to play against little countries because I want to play with the full team and not risk some injuries and red cards this week...

I know my tactic for the World-Cup. I`m ready and the team is it too. So I hope that you vote for me.

There are several double booked players. A third yellow card would let them skip the next friendly, and let them start WC with a clean sheet :o)

Of course there is a chance of injuries, too.

I think you should be re-elected, because you managed to bring Lietuva to WC. I'm just afraid that the few users could get a wrong image about you, not wanting to play friendlies.

i think you should have a shot at the world cup too.

but i got a question. when you say that the big countries didn't accept your challenge... do you mean you only challenged them this week, or they didn't accept when you challenge them weeks/months before?
i know many NT coaches arange all their friendly matches at the earliest chance, thats what i had to do when i was NT coach so i have the chance to play the teams i want to play, when i want to play them.

I was already 7 seasons Nationalcoach, and I always searched the friendlies 1-2 weeks before... Because so I could play against what team I wanted. This seasons it didn`t work so well (I don`t know why...). and I don`t want to play against Honduras etc.

Erm...1-2 weeks before the game? I usually had my full friendly schedule made the day the elections ended...

Anyway you should be the Lietuva coach this season, as I think the one who one quals should go at World Cup...
