What you can say about our group and other NT?

Group C
1. Eesti
2. Lietuva
3. USA
4. Portugal

Eesti is really tough, USA is a strong NT, but Lietuva should be able to beat them with a solid tactic.

I don't know Portugal very well, but if we don't underestimate them we should win.

Here is my opinion:

Eesti:
Really strong team, I saw 2-3 games from them. It will be really hard to win this game, 1 point would be good...

USA:
They are also strong, but our team is perhaps a little bit stronger. This game will decide if we travel to the next round! A win and we should do it...

Portugal:
Its surely not a easy game, because every team that is on the WC has his qualities... But if we don`t win against Portugal, I`m the wrong person for the Nationalcoach job..

So its a hard group, but we can do it (and we will). And after, everything is possible :)

Lietuva is doing well, let's hope there won't be unexpected injuries.

We will play with the best team against Italy, one of the best teams in sokker! It will show us, how close we are to the Top4 in this game. I hope that our team can play an other good match and perhaps get a point against Italy.

Only half an hour to the start of the game! Here is our set-up and my tactic ideas:

Our 2 middfielders Kaknevicius and Grybauskas have both 2 yellow-cards. So Geisleris and Vuicekas will come during the game for our 2 "oldies".

Italia is one of the best teams in sokker, so we have to play defensive to have a chance. I hope that our defense can make a good game and perhaps hold the 0... In all parts of the team I changed the tactic in a few details. Our team should be ready, I can`t imagine that Italia will have an easy game :)

-> I think that Italia will play a 4-3-3 with 2 strikers on the sides. Their defense is really offensiv, so their team is extremely compact. Our aim is to be compact to and to make 2-3 good counter-attacks to bring the victory home :)

5-3 loss. 18 chances against 9 for Lietuva.

The tactic wasn't bad at all, Lietuva maneged to be dangerous sometimes (26' and 29' Kueinskas, what a chances)

Unfortunately Italy is the second best team in sokker. The coach put a very good tactic on the field, with a midfielder just behind Cipriani. When Cipriani lost the ball, the other player (Bachini, and later Baronio) took the ball from the defender.

Yes, they are really strong. But we saw that we have also a chance against a really world-class team. Our strikers had a few great chances, and Kalenikas made a great game!!! I have to work on the defense and a bit on the middfield, then we are ready for Eesti.
