Yes, they are really strong. But we saw that we have also a chance against a really world-class team. Our strikers had a few great chances, and Kalenikas made a great game!!! I have to work on the defense and a bit on the middfield, then we are ready for Eesti.

I agree. I'm wondering if Chadzevicius has enough PM. He kicked the ball too often out of the pitch. He didn't look that smart.

Maybe Italy had also too much ball possession between Lietuva's defence and midfield. The defensive MIDs of your team seemed running a bit too far from defence sometimes.

Chadcevicius has really bad b-skills, but he is perfect in pace and defender. And against teams like Italy I didn`t want to take the risk... But you are right, he lost surely 5-10 for us because his bad playmaker-skills.

Damned!!! Myskis is injured, I have to change my whole tactic for the game against Eesti... Arghh...

Lietuva : Eesti

This saturday starts my biggest contest in my whole sokker-career! Its a great honor to coach Lietuva on World-Cup, and I`m sure that we are ready to play a really good WC. Our first enemy is Eesti, the best ranked team in our Group. The aim is clear for our great team, we want surely win a point, bether would clearly be a win :)

Eesti:

-Number 5 in the World-Cup Ranking.
-Coach: oliver

Best players:
-Villem Miller -> Strong defender, plays in Polska and has also offensiv qualities.
-Kalmar Oltsvel -> Offensiv midfielder. It will be important to take him out of the game...
-Harald Lagus -> He scored 49 goals in 25 Nationalgames! Our defenders have a nice job to do!


Lietuva:

We are ready! Our team has much experience and showed in the last few games that we can also beat big enemies. Like Eesti is :) I have nominated an other midfielder for our first WC-game. Vacas Zimnickas will do his first game for his country, and this with his 28 years! Kaknevicius can`t play because of a red card and Myskis will miss the match because of his injury. In our midfield will miss 2 important players, so I have choosen an extra tactic :)

Lietuva before this important first game:

Only a few minutes to the start of the 5th World-Cup.
We are in a hard Group, and today we play against the best team in this Group (without us ;)), Eesti.


Our starting-eleven:

Our most important player today will probably be Reinaldas Kalenikas, he is a great goalkeeper and his actuell form is really good. Already against Italy he saved a few balls for us! We need you today, Reinaldis ;)

In our defense we wil play with 4 defenders and 1 really defensive midfielder. Unfortunatly Mikolajus Miškys and Anzelmas Ðutkus can`t play because of injuries... I want to see a compact team on the field, that means that our defense plays offensive, so there will be some offsides from Eesti I think. The midfield is like always, we play with Kisielus as defensive midfielder, Grybauskas and Vacas Zimnickas (first game for the NT!!!) will play in the center and Varaneckas on the right winger. In the attack we have our 2 bombers, Samutinas and Kucinskas! They are great strikers and I hope that they will bring us the victory!

Ps: Hellsangel gives us 30% chances to win today! We can show the sokker-world that we are ready!

though both strikers are injured they should be back by next week.... but Tanislovas Varaneckas's red card might hurt the team...

Yes, but our 2 strikers should be back, and Kaknevicius will be back.
And the best: With this win, we have "only" to win against Portugal and we are through...
