Subject: [NT]Sydval

Hi friends

I'm here to present my candidature as lietuva NT coach and to inform the community about my plans for the national team and its organization

Well, i'm 31 yo and i'm from Rome where i work as lawyer, but above all i'm a sokker-addicted :D
I play since april 2005 and did very well with my team but first of all with Italian Nt winning the unofficial under21 world cup 5 season ago (against spain in final and polska in semifinal) and winning the past edition of World Cup always with Italy as many of you probably have seen

I have a great will to take your NT to the top (as I did with italy) and during my job as italian coach i studied very well lithuanian players so I can say that with the right choices (and obviously a bit of luck :D) Lietuva can reach a great result in the next world cup...and a great result in my vocabolary is the final victory

The age of the best players is good to play next world cup (with italy i won with 30y.o. aged players) so we have to do everything to let these players leave a great sign in sokker history

About staff and database organization i would prefer to be helped by some of you that really wants to give something to the NT, and i must say that a good staff is an half of a great result as well as i could prove in my italian experience.

About tactics and players choice i think that is the thing that i can do better...I spent many hours on it when I'm amazed by the challenge

So i ask you to trust in me...i'm world champion and i would like to take you the same joy that italian people felt in november...

There's any question for me?

what's your favorite formation in sokker ? And what do you think about Lithuanian players with wich formation we can beat strongest teams? :)

with the old ME I usually preferred to play with a line of 4 DEFs (very high) then 4 MIDs (with wingers or not according to opponent formation forecast) and 2 ATTs

with the new ME I think that playing with an high defensive line requires defenders with high PM so I think that it will be setup a more balanced defensive line

also i think that will be increased the number of mids cause will be limited the number of long passes so it will necessary to have more players in the most important zone of the field (the midfield)

Watching lithuanian matches i could appreciate the solid structure of the 3 fields (Def,Mid,Att) so we will have players that can give the chances to play everyway we need...even if (i talk for my experience) to beat strongest teams it's important to have a good defensive line (maybe with 5 defs) and try to use a smart positioning of mids and atts to break the opponent defensive wall

"defenders with high PM"

The problem is, that there aren`t defenders in Lietuva with unearthly pace and defender AND good Playmaker...

i know...or better i can imagine

but there's always at least a solution for each problem

we can use a defensive line in relation to the players' skills...i always take care of players value before painting a tactic

the same tactic (it's obvious) can work in a different way with different players
