It seems like anybody is interested in how the candidates would face their opponents. If I look in Belgium, or in many other countries, you can see that the varous candidates are given different questions, to look which candidate is best.

Here the discussion still is about nationality. It's amazing that even the top class Lietuvan managers seem to have no interest in selecting the best candidate ...

I never expected talking about tactics with you. That's stuff for grown-ups, who have good manners, and treat people with respect, even if they don't understand/support each other.

Reading the few replies you posted (even if I asked to stop reacting this meaningless and sometimes disrespectful way), I assume you already are well-known by the moderators.

Kastillius just mailed me why he also thinks sigitas will win.

If I read well the forum topics, and Kastillius' answers, I notice that the reason why most people would vote for a Lithuanian manager are:

- the current disappointment in the NT and U21 NT results, both teams managed by a foreign manager
- the language matter (which I think is not so important because you always voted for foreign managers)

I answered Kastillius that I understand the disappointment, but clearly don't understand:

- why 2 honestly good tacticians have to be punished for the bad results of the actual NT
- why the respected, A-lyga managers (and others) are so little interested in who would be the best, but seem (not all of course) to vote based on nationality

The person with the most votes wins of course, but in my opinion a lot of people are not doing this seriously .....

He is the Lietuvan candidate. That's the point.

Nobody is interested which candidate would make which choise against opponent X or Y. These are the kind of questions that are asked during an election.
