Why me ? (short version)
-achieved SILVER medal for Slovensko (Slovakia) in this seasons World cup
-playing Sokker for more than 6 RL years (most of the time actively)
-I have more than 12 seasons of NT experience (Czech republic and Slovakia)
-I have achieved a lot of success (12x consecutive Czech champion,14x alltogether)
-I don’t have any problem to communicate with national or international community
-I have enough free time, which I would like to spent by managing a very good NT in Sokker
Why me (long version)
Prologue
Many managers maybe do not know me that much. It is because I am usually not so active on international forums when it comes to writing and discussing stuff. On the other side I am following up on important topics to be updated, if there is some “tactics” talk going on. It has two main reasons. Firstly I am not kind of guy who starts big talks when you achieve some kind of victory in friendly match, secondly I like the position being somewhere in the “backround”, where opponent doesn’t know much about you, your habbits and your style and where he usually tends to underestimate you.
And why did I choose to candidate in your country? Well, I am looking for a new challenge, therefore I was thinking where to try my luck in order to succeed in elections. I am looking for a country with good quality squad with a decent chances to compete with other top teams in the World cup and with community open to a good and succesfull coach from abroad. Lietuva fits these requirements for me to try it, now I hope I fit your expectations to give me chance. And one last thing why Lietuva…of course Miaso :)
About me and Sokker
-age 29, playing Sokker since 20.2.2005, for me its already incredible 6 years here
- owner of teamBANÍK Veľký Krtíš, which is a leading team in Czech top division. During the time here, I managed to win Czech title for 12x in a row (14 times altogether so far), additionally I won Czech cup 3 times. Now my aim is to achieve something bigger in Champions cup. So far I have only one participation with rather unlucky kickout in round 3.
NT
I have been managing NTs since my early career here, precisely 8 seasons with Slovakia and 4 seasons with Czech republic. I played really dozens of matches against top opponents. If I look at the current top 32 in the world, there are only few teams I didn’t beat in my long NT history .
But my biggest achievement came this season, as I managed to get with Slovakia NT to the finals of the World cup as an absolute outsider. Everybody was hoping to get Slovakia as an opponent, in a group stage in playoffs, in every round our opponents were happy to face us, at the end Slovakia was smiling to go through.
If you look at my games with Slovakia, you will easily find out what I like. I am kind of “defensive minded” coach. I like first to cover up opponents threats and then to think about offence. This style probably developed in me because of nature of games I was usually facing. With Slovakia I had to play mostly against stronger teams therefore a bit more defensive and cautious approach evolved to be necessary to succeed.
If I will be managing Lietuva, I do plan to implement and use very similar defensive positions with a bit more of variety. I already have 1-2 new things in mind, which I would like to try during the season if elected. Most important and first goal is to qualify into the World Cup. Although LIetuva will be seeded as from pot number 3, with a bit of luck and good tactics, it is possible to go through.
Epilogue
I hope that I have persuaded you that I am good candidate to lead your NT and that under my command Lietuva can get back on winning direction. Not an easy task but definitely achievable.
If you have any further questions, feel free to ask ;)

Do You think You can manage build game from defense when our defense is the weekest part?
that's what brought me results in my history and I stick to it ;)
(dont check last couple of games after WC, as they were not mostly managed by me, but by future coach)
to clear my "defensive" minded strategy:
You dont need any special star defenders to perform it, nor that does mean that defenders are sitting back in box all match. If you look at ratings and players of Slovakia, there is no real star defender either (except Agneta, whom I had to play as MID all tournament as an only one player with defender in midfield formation) ..... and defensive play was that borught us to final.
It's more meant like aproach. First I am tryng to make sure that all oponents threats are covered well (thats why I play 5 defs mostly) to minimaze his chances, then I am looking to find a gap in his defense with remaining players. Therefore my most used formations are 541 and 532.
Truth is that I don't know your defenders skills precisely, but looking at their values and marks, I think they are comparable with the current SLovensko defenders.

You have my vote too.. But u must reach 1/4 minimum in WC ;D if you win this election..
thx to both for support
pashinho:I'll do my best. However first important step is to qualify. Situation will not be so easy as you were used to. Lietuva will be seeded form pot nr.3 and that means we have to take the promotion spot from one of the favorites, therefore we can expect several tough and interesting matches in the upcoming season.
I was wondering, when I was posting my elections speech, Strus already had 6 votes. After posting it and next vote (which was for me), I was among the top candidates, Now question is, whether there is anybody who changed his mind and gave me vote after that speech or did I just "missed the train"? :)

Why 3rd pot?
Lietuva is 32nd in World Rank, and there're 16 groups.
So last place for 2nd pot :)

ups, my bad :)
dunno why did I think that its on position 33....looks much better with the chances now :)

thanks to all for your votes allowing me to win the elections...I am very happy to have the opportunity to lead lithuaninan natioan team in the following season.
Now to the important news:
-the most important match against Chile is in less than a week and situation is very BAD. I wrote to Andreasson (current coach) earlier this week to arrange any kind of friendly game, so Uzolas can clear his red card...as you can see, nothing happened.
In this case I am quite certain that even if I can get any kind of database of NT players skills from him on time, it will need to be updated within next days.
Adding to this, NTDB (database server) isnt working and I've just read there some problems with dream team web, a great tool to find unknown or forgotten potential NT players.
If you sum this all up, hard and busy week coming....therefore I NEED YOUR HELP
First important question I need to have answered:
-is there anyone who would be interested to aid me in a long rung with scouting of players?
-does anybody by any chance have any kind of database? Can be even season old, most important thing is to have as many potential names as possible. Right now it seems to be the best source of information.
-anybody willing to help with lithuanina translations (pre-matach speeches, information, communication with community?

Posting an update of what’s been done this week:
-arranged friendly fixture list:
week 4 Israel (10)
week 8 Hungary (21)
week 12 Cymru (52)
week 15 Brasil (14)
week 0 Rossiya (43)
week 1 Serbia (19)
Was aiming a bit higher positioned teams, but I was turned down most of the times because of low ranking of Lietuva. Anyway I am satisfied with this schedule, even the lower ranked teams have mark over 70, so every game should be thrilling and interesting.
-building up the database
As Andreasson didnt have a couple of minutes to respond to my mails, I’ve had no chance but to start putting together a brand new database of players. With dream team web page offline(a perfect scouting tool for finding all players) I was browsing through old NT and U21 games to find all potential NT players. The result is that aprox +30 names to the the current NT squad, mostly in age 23-25.
When speaking about the current skills and my evaluation of them, I started to send SK mails on Monday morning. Now I have the skills of about 80% of those names, the rest is blank mostly because of owners still didn’t read my mail. Also I wanted to send thanks to sigitas, who helped me with skills of players like Martys Kazlovas, who is defacto in a bot team.
In a close future, mainly like a cooperation with Royal Flush, I’d like to start using the NTDB to update and keep track of NT players, so future coaches will have much easier task in their first weeks.
With current situation, it’s hard to say whether there are still some players we don’t know about therefore I am posting a full list of names of players. If you stumble upon a player which might be interesting for NT, feel free to send a notice. Lietuva doesn’t have many users therefore every potential player should be checked.

Tomorrow we will face the number on seed in our qualification group, team Chile. Chile was performing very well in the last WC, they managed to get to the quarter finals, where they lost in even game with Mexico.
Chile has approx 800 users and looking at their marks they have very slight advantage in quality of players. On the other side, they are supposed to be the best team in group and instead of Chile we could have been easily facing Poland, Romania, Italy or Estonia, therefore in my eyes Chile is a very OK team to play, obviously not easy but I rather play them than Poland :))
Chile has got new coach elected. Mr_Newton is playing in Italian 4th league. Seems he had some “blackout” period where he wasn’t active for some time. On the other side he is not common 4th leaguer, as he managed Italy NT for several seasons and even won italian first league in the past. Anyway fisrt NT match is still a little mystery on what to expect from a new coach and tomorrow we have to be ready for everything.
Speaking about our team, I can say that I am satisfied with current form of our players. Our best strikers are in decent form. Midfield is looking great (missing only Zlobas). Bit worse situation is in defense. As stated during elections this is the weakest point of Lietuva. On the other side there are several young defs of very decent quality, who can be part of first team in one season with proper training. As for names I can mention Pulgis Leliašius, Vidmantas Jocis, Vygaudas Marčius and Sebestas Stramskas as our biggest hopes. At last, GKs. There are few good but I am still missing skills of probably the best one Salnikovas. Anyway looking at his value and form, I am going to play him…seems as the best choice. If you feel there are some other interesting GKs, feel free to let me know.
I hope that you will enjoy tomorrows match and that a victory will give us confidence boost in later stages of the season.

no problem, I was just looking for players who has any kind of relationship with my club and a polish surname cought my eye :))
I'm not 100% sure, but I think when Salnikovas was on TL he was a 2*superdivine
