as for the friendlies in the rest of season.....will try to arrange some Uxx matches or give chance to young promising players at least.

first of all just a couple of senteces regarding friednlies played so far:

USA - Lietuva 4:6

good game for us and good victory, USA was playing clone of "phil tactics" (tactic very similar to one made by Philfox long time ago, when he was coach of USA and brought them to the final), which very strong and hard to play against. We ended up winning with having a few more chances...overall I am sasistief with the result

Lietuva - Srbija 1:2

nothing to be proud of here, Serbia has great team, we were missing many key players in Midfield and were uotplayed and the result was deserved.

Lietuva - Zhōngguó 3:1

nice and quite an easy victory against a weaker team. I tried to give a chance to the most promising youngsters as Valanauskas or Veremejus.

Lietuva - Ecuador 1:3

very unlucky game, once again we played against a tier 3 team, so I decided to play several B team/younger players. We even had a lower rating than Ecuador in this game, still we were doing quite OK considering the situation, but then red card once again screwed everything and despite having more chances, we lost. Bad game and many lost rating points. It's hard to decide who to play in these kind of games. If I play A team players all the time, I risk their injuries upsetting their owners. So i try at least from time to time I am trying to give a chance to other players who have potential to be part of NT in future to motivate their owners, but it can backfire like it did, as even lower ranked teams have very decent players with a rating very close to ours.

Nederland - Lietuva 1:1

Nederland is absolutely top team in regards to player quality, they achieved 80 rating even despite our rating was only 73. I felt that game was pretty ok, NED had a slight advantage and deserved the victory more, but at least we managed to equalise at the very last minute of the game. I felt that tactic was OK, just the player quality made the difference. We currently dont even have triple divine strikers in form to be ready to play. So players like Kuneckas or Grabusovas, who were supposed to just youngsters slowly getting in the A team, ended as gerular A teamers. In midfield our top players Skinderas, Zlobas, Podoliakas and Kazlovas lack form, too. Considering this, it was a good performance and result for us

And now game against Belgie....its pretty much same as with the Nederland game, great team in regards to player quality + tactic prepared with Royal = hoping for the best, expecting the worst :))

I am going to look a bit more into the Royal's tactic so I know what can we expect tomorrow, but generally it will be a very hard game.

PS to Royal: if you really want to help Lietuva and secure some votes for next seasons, you really should "accidentally" make some sort a "tiny" mistake in lineup or....be creative ;P

with the current situation Migevicius will most probably play ;)

Oh, I'm experimenting tomorrow, so it will be a weird tactic and you'll probably score more than Belgium will ;-)

Hmmm, I played a tactic where the opponent always has more chances... But most of those chances are long distance shots...
And on sokker Long distance shots are completely based on luck!

The mistake in my tactic was that Belgian's Midfield was placed a bit too high, but I guess everything went better than expected...
I could've gone for another tactic where Lietuva wouldn't have had so much chances as in this tactic, but the result might have been the same...

But the goalkeeper prevented a few big chances but there weren't 15 big chances :)

well even if you look at those "big chances" you were not leading there. game was pretty even counting good chances and we managed to add up several number of "small chances" form distance. I think 3 of them were from free kicks taken by ATTs which is not a regular luck biased long shot IMO.

From my point of view if this game ended as draw I would feel slightly robbed. With losing this, well...nevermind.

I dont feel there was much to be done on my side....not that I prepared very specially (cannot play winger as there is no player to do so, playing ATT with 13 form).

Considering skill levels of players, we managed to play very solidly. Were those all the top belgian players Royal?

No we missed our biggest names today, Tuerlinkx(triple superdivine attacker) injured, his follow up wasn't allowed to play, than Eben, he's the Miaso from Belgium, but not that good(4x divine and magical defending), injured aswell, than 2 other midfielders, Charlier and Tenkhoff weren't allowed to play aswell from their owner... So it wasn't the best team...

The tactic wasn't my best tactic to be honest, my best tactic has been used in my last comp match, that one is really starting to look good...

A draw would have been correct, but your not the first one to complain about the luck when I've played such tactic :) Every active manager, who played against that kind of tactic has been complaining why they haven't won or why they haven't scored more :)

I meant it like, whether it was the best lineup you were able to choose...because 78 rating is a bit low for Belgium I guess...I miss lot of players as well, we played with MIDs with 11 and 9 defending, and other skills are not a huge as well :)

regarding your tactic I was expecting something like that with positioning defense so deeply...maybe I could position ATTs even more offensively, but I was risking a lot of offsides if you played something else. It was working quite ok, only if I had a striker with high defending and we could have had a couple of more chances....but those IFs :))

on the other side, I am very satisfied with defense performance. We are nearly in full strength there and defense really played amazingly. Almost no blunder on their side. :)

Regarding the converting chances, it's still a big lottery, sometimes you score without problem and sometimes you just dont know what to do. Sooner or later everybody goes through both phases :)

Things went great this time for me, probably next time you would've won this match, you've done remarkable job today :)
But I was happy with the win, before the game I received a lot of warnings that my tactic wasn't good etc, I knew it wasn't the best tactic but I wanted it to be tested on a high level, for me it was all about learning this match, next time I play a senior NT game, it won't be the same :)

So it was good to prove them "wrong" even with the luck on my side :)

well yeah....I so much disgusted with this season. It's like I should just prepare one aftermatch speech just copy it and then paste it in 2/3 of the matches this season.

We played against a team with superior rating, had 3 injuries, red cards...still we managed to play an even game with them...but then we didnt manage to score any goal from our chances while opponent converted 3.

NOt much to say, it's not really enjoyable to go trhough the same pattern week by week :/
