Subject: [U21] News and Discussions

Our strikers are so weak that I have to use a midfielder as an attacker due to the lack of decent strikers
amanavicius only has very good tech, he's our best striker

then kukucionis, he has outstanding tech and pace, which isn't good enough if you play against teams with double brilliant defenders
our midfielders are great, our defs are mediocre but our strikers are just too weak to play at this level...
luckily next year they will be better, but now watching the games and seeing how our strikers are underperforming, it's stings a little bit...
today the tactic wasn't good enough against latvija
next week I'll be using a new tactic, something I'm more familiar with :)

tonight U20 Lietuva vs U21 Island!

we won, margin could've been bigger...

Friday we play against Turkey! Big opponent but we'll play u20 and they will play U20 aswell but they'll use 3/4 19 year old players :)
As our U20 is stronger than our U21 we could have a chance to win!

anyway, I'd like to discuss the tactic to play against turkey with people who wan't to help the NT :)

We won against turkey thanks to a late 3rd goal wich made the difference :)

I used a tactic which I really like, the previous tactics were tactics made with hints and tips from some Belgian managers, they didn't really work out, but now that I decided to use one of my own tactics, we're back in the game
The previous tactics were also mage by myself but they weren't how I liked them, there were some good ideas in those tactics but I still prefer my own :)
Sunday in my league game I'll be testing a new tactic, really new for me ;)

I just went and checked the future for our U21 midfield, in 3 seasons we'll have a crazy midfield :o
if all the players get trained properly! :)

normally we would've had a game versus belarus this week but their manager already arranged another game!

Next year Lietuva will be fairly strong! Our U20 hasn't lost too many matches, even versus other countries who played U21!
In Belgium I've been asked by current NT coach if I wan't to become NT coach of Belgium U21, I've declined the offer because I wan't to finish what I've started with Lietuva, next season I'd like to qualify Lietuva for the World Cup! Which I think is possible :)

Coming week we'll play versus Finland, they played World cup Final the day before yesterday, they eliminated Belgium, ...
We almost have 0 chances I think... I'll ask them to play their U20 vs our U20, just to see how far we are behind and to estimate our chances to qualify for World Cup next year :)

We won our first Qualification match!
A massive 0-6 over Panama, our rating was a tad higher, we had better strikers, that's for sure ;)

due to the low form of papikis, I've used him as my supersub when all the players from other team are tired :)
It worked perfectly! I'm happy with the result, a lot of goals and a mighty Amanavicius today
Golubevas got injured for 24 days :-/ he isn't the best striker but he's really helpfull in the front with his high PM level(formidable), he can create some space for amanavicius and give him assists

I was disappointed with kliucius, first of all, his form is going down :( and second of all, not even 1 assist, but he had 1 decisive pass and 1 goal, but the goal makes it up for all of his little mistakes ;-)
Too bad zalnaris is so low on form... he could've been a big threat to our opponents...

Good result but next week we face the Netherlands, we will have to be stronger on tactics than them! It will be hard but the least we can do is try and beat them ;-)

Good game and good result :), I happy, that Papikis finished two goals - it's a good, because he played only 40 minutes :), I hope, that Papikis form increase from solid to divine :)

already found a new and better keeper for our qualification matches!
