Hey guys!

I've done some thinking and discussing in Belgium, they are looking for a Native manager to lead U21 Belgium again and I'd like to take my shot for the coming season. Some Belgian users think it's a good idea... But this is not the end for me in Lietuva, I'll be back applying for Lietuva U21 the season after the coming one probably!

I've been looking for someone to step in my footsteps, so that I will still have some control in Lietuva and the scouting for the NT.
This someone is a Belgian user aswell, he writes fluent English and he's a good and active manager. He applied for the Belgian U21 last season, but he wasn't chosen(Had about 30+ votes and lost by 10 votes to loczenty) because the Belgian managers thought he wasn't experienced enough to lead Belgium yet. Eversince he's been experimenting with new tactics in his own team. So i'll be giving him the chance to gain some experience with Lietuva U21, next season there will only be friendlies for Lietuva. The user I'm talking about is mattn.
He's already pretty experienced! He has been a Belgian U21 NT scout for the last 5 season, so he knows how the NTDB works, how to scout, etc
I'll still be helping him whenever I can :)

To be honest, I've really enjoyed being NT coach here, the Lithuanian users are great :)
So I'd like to come back when the new qualifiers are here :) I'll be having more experience when I come back :)

What do you guys think? :)
2012-01-15 00:17:13
Never heard of him
2012-01-15 01:22:09
If you really think that after one season, You will come back.. yeah why not, but if somebody from Lithuania users will try..and if he will be active, and with some experience.. i will vote for Lithuanian candidate :)
for the season, in which will start qualifiers..vote from me You have ;) good luck Royal Flush ;)

Yeah, mattn isn't really active on international forums but he is active in Belgium and he has a lot of experience with scouting and so on...
He also organises our NSW(National Sokker War) against other countries

Btw, before I became U21 coach here, did you guys already hear about me? ;-)
2012-01-15 10:26:04
I did :)
2012-01-15 10:27:36
Yep, me too :)
2012-01-15 10:27:37
Oh yeah, because of kliucius :p

Hello I'd like to thank Royal Flush for introducing me here. As he said I applied last season for the job of U21 coach of Belgium and lost with around 10 votes. I think I wasn't chosen because people think I had a lack of tactical knowledge. That's why I started to adapt my tactic every week for my own team and think about changes.

But now I'd like to try on a higher level. I offered Royal Flush a proposition: we would apply for a double job in Belgium, he would be coach this season and I would be coach the season after. So he said to me that in the meantime I could help him and try my tactics here. Of course I'll do my best to search new talents and keep the database up to date as I did for the last seasons in Belgium. Except for this season because loczenty is not that good to work with he has some ideas that don't stroke with those of the Belgian. I think you will all be great to work with.

If you have any questions please ask.

Flawless victory last night
Haven't had the time to come and talk about it, untill now

Lots of goals again yesterday and a good result for us :)
Their winger is unbelievable, I placed a unearthly(16) def on the side of the winger, it didn't help much...
So we've played 3 times against Panama this season, we were 3 times better, even when we played U20 against them :)

btw, we have 1 star in our future, at the moment he's 19 years old, our striker Gadliauskis is probably the best striker of his age, he's really an incredible player! Already better than some of our 21 year old attackers :)

For the rest, this season our defence was our main problem, if you compare them with the defenders that are available to Osterreich and the netherlands than it's quite obvious why I didn't manage to qualify... Especially because our best defenders didn't have a good form, same counts for some of our attackers :)

So partially bad luck(due to form) and the lack of quality in our defence.

Next week the tactic and Line-up will be done by mattn, it will be a test for him :)

Ok thank you I'll do my best :p as I am a defender trainer I mostly play with 5 defenders. So next season if I will be elected I will try to raise the quality in defence.
