Subject: [NT] questions for candidates

2007-09-25 23:36:22
sorry I wanted it do it fast :/

now it works :]
2007-09-26 00:24:51
1) I love the 343 and the 4123, but I thin that a NT match often need a great ability in changing tactics. then, a 3-men defense is rarely useful...

2) I have the same problem in my club team. I think a low playmaker, just over the defense, could make a great part of the work. I love defensive midfielders and a 3\4ist behind the forwards... if 1 or 2 attackers are wide, they could take more balls from the defense.

3) I choose... reading the match. ;)

4) 1st place in 3rd italian division

5) my best match was versus a team with a bad tactic (of course!) they were stronger but.... there I also planned a superimposition of two forwards (that took my team in goal)

6) I'd like to talk about all the matches in the forum, either before and after the match...

7) the first one. if a DEF is stronger in defense but is slow in send away the ball, or he couldn't stop the ball, what can I do with him??? :D (too easy, as a question...)

8) since july 2005

9) fun.

Hi everybody, my name is Andreas and I`m from Svizzerland. I read your announce in the International-Forum and here I am.

First I will answer your questions.

1.
I prefer 4-4-2, the reason is, that I like a very good defens. The 4 middfielders I can set-up how I want. Perhaps only with 1 winger (my actual tactic) or with 2 defensiv middfielders. But surely the tactic will change every week! Against easy enemies I will also play with a 3-5-2, thats clear.

2. Thats surely a problem, I saw the last 2 games now and the middfieldes should become bether. The problem is only that I`m not a magician. I would surely see, that all the talented players would become perfect training. I did this work already with Hayastan, there I created a perfect training plan for all the young players -> they become very fast stronger! At the moment I would look to creat tactics to play mostly "without" the midfield. The central middfielders would be for example a bit more defensiv. The wingers a bit more attacking.

3. Also here the enemy is important. Against Polska etc. I would surely play a bit defensiv. But normaly I will play attacking, thats clear! You have here really nice strikers, there is the most potential!

4. Sorry, I don`t know whats an achievement...

5. My actual season! Perhaps my last game. My actual tactic works really good, my devens is so strong and in the attack I can creat very much dangerous situations for the enemy (good played corners etc.)

6. Thats not so easy. But there are ways! I would talk with important managers in Lithuana, when the best are interessed in the NT, the whole country begins to watch the games. I would also beggining to play games with the NT, like to guess results etc. The winner can win a price. I know that I have to offer something to the managers, otherwise they won`t see the games...

7. Surely a!
In my team all my defenders have to be really good passing and playmaker players. The central defenders use also much technique in my eyes! B won`t play not 1 match in my National-Team!

8. For a long time... I don`t know exactly :-)
I was 2 times NC from Schweiz and 2 times from Hayastan. I played 2 Cup-Finals with Energie Hard (my team) and I qualified 1 times for the WC with Schweiz! Thats me ;-)

9. Its hard to promise something without knowing the players exavtly... I can surely promise you a strong National-Team and surely also the 1/2 Final in the World-Cup. Your nation is really strong! More I will say later...

Greets and I hope that you are interessed in me :-)

tell me if you are interested in me and my achievements.
I always like to "work" with young lads and I have lots of free time.

1) Definetely 4-4-2 diamond.
But I have some good 4-3-3 and 5-4-1 tactics.

2) Don't know how good your players are..
But a good solution would be to have a strong defensive midfielder and concentrate on wings with great wingers.

3) Definetely defensive.Let's not lose first and then we shall see.

4) I'd say the fact that I won 2 leagues in a row being a noob AND the fact that I'm so high at my league ( 2nd div ) with so young players AND with very few transfers.

5) OF course the match in 2007-05-13 11:49. Two same teams but my tactics much better (sorry I don't know how to enter a link).

6) With being an active in the "NT" topic and getting many scouters.Of course if we win more will be interested ;)

7) A hard one. I'd say a)

8) About a year.

9) No promises.

wow :) impresible (;

1. 442 and combinations of this formation - the best to defense and attack

2. currently I don't know all of your players, I cannot say more

3. depends of opponent

4. twice 2nd place in III.09, winning with Susiorex in polish cup

5. FC Beers - Siusiorex 3:1 - suchy played in Ekstraklasa, I was in III league, and he shooted on my goal only 3 times :p

6. advising how to train players, trying to answer for all questions, few contests with prize: your player in NT match

7. if form is same: A

8. over 3 years

9. nothing :P
2007-09-26 12:58:56
lol what do you mean?
2007-09-26 13:01:30
too inexperienced...
2007-09-26 13:58:22
1) what type of tactics do you prefer? (4-4-2, 4-5-1 etc.)

surely i will before know the strenght of NT players, the strenght of each side (defense, midfield, attack) and then try to set the best tactic to let play the best players.
Anyway as you can see with Italian NT, i prefer 4-4-2 against equal o stronger teams and 3-4-3 against weaker teams (even if 4-4-2 remains my first choice)

2) How would you try to solve lack of midfielders problem? (as I see it as the main problem for Lithuania now)

In Italy I had the same problem...except Gioia,Baronio,Demi there were many mids not completely fitting with my idea of mid.
Unfortunately a good mid is much more difficult to train than a good defender or forward, but we should try to involve young mids trainers to follow a good training schedule.
I think that in the economy of the game, the midfield is the most important zone to take care, most of matches are decided by a great midfield.

3) defensive, attacking or normal? (you know what i mean [; )

I want always win and I want always see a great match...each time.
My grandfather said "If you play with ball near the window, surely you'll break the window"
That's to say...never defensive, but i prefer a team balanced and offensive.

4) your best achievement

WC-Quarter final with Italy (lost against a supernatural Polska)
2 times III in italian serie A
5 times semifinalist in Coppa Italia

5) your best match (according to tactics)

the next i will play :)
anyway you can choose one of the last 20 matches with Italian NT.
There are great performances (also against Lietuva, i remember 7-3...we will try to invert the result)

6) how would you improve our interest in National Team?

I'll try to be always present in the forum (obviously I speak a so and so english) trying do involve people to follow always NT matches, to talk about it, to be excited when important games are starting (just like Italia-Polska last month)
I would like to arise interest in each lithuanian user, and i think that the language won't be a problem

7) a: incredible pace, incredible defending, solid playmaking/pass/tech
or
b: brilliant pace, brilliant defending, poor pm/pass/tech

(a) I always prefer multiskill players

8) How long you've been playing for?

i play since april 2005 (2 years and a half)

9) your promises [=

Fun,wins,beautiful game...

1) I prefer Mainly balanced formations such as 4-4-3 , 4-4-2 , 3-4-3 & 4-3-3 ( my favourite one on club basis) , as you may have noticed i ll enfasize on the midfield
because it can create and break down attacks , so if a strong midfield is build and a strong backline more chances of score.

2) Yes indeed , midfield appears to be a problem , i ll try to contact users that own a nt potential player to monitor their
training schedule and even giving tips on where is needed to train etc. Communication is very important to solve this problem
Just as i said i ll make an enfasy on the midfield by always playing 4 midfielders assisted by a Strong defensive line so we
break down opponent attacks , i repeat Communication with coaches of the players is the key to sucess .

3) Depends on the team youre playing if were playing a strong squad i'll opt for a defensive formation using counter attacks to
infiltrate through , Vs Teams of our levels we use a cautious formation so i opt to play normal play neither defensive nor attacking
vs weaker nations , i ll go for attacking approaching but again choosing the right players to be on the safe side .

4) Won my league last season and sucessfully passed the playoff .

5) interesting question indeed , well i regard my best the one vs Benny united which i won 1 - 0 i tried a new tactic given the factr
i was finding it hard to adopt in league and the tactic worked sucessfully that i am still using it now .

6) Well , i will make interesting competitions to see always the forum on the go :) , contacting users to help the national team
so they wont get bored , they will get involved and also by making quizzes and reviews about the next match , it will be like
a report before the actual match

7) I ll opt for A imo performs better but you have to see their form but A definately , secondaries are an asset .

8) I ve been playing since 11th March 07 but had a team in south africa before i came to Malta .

9) Well my promises , I promise commitment and fair selection of players and Obviosly Time , ill also promise that i will listen
to every users request for the good of the national team .

Thanks for offering this chance

Forza Lietuva
All the best

Hello there,
My name's Silver and I'm from your neighbouring country. :) It's been two seasons since I was the NT coach of estonia and I would love a new challenge at coaching a new national team. Looking forward to hearing your opinions :)

(1) What type of tactics do you prefer? (4-4-2, 4-5-1 etc.)

Definitely 442! To be more precise, it's like 4132, with the 1 being a defensive midfielder, preferably a strong defensive player to keep things clear around there. I'm also comfortable with 532 and, when playing more offensively, 523 or 433. I prefer to play defensively though and that's what I usually do with my club too, although I'm a striker trainer.

(2) How would you try to solve lack of midfielders problem? (as I see it as the main problem for Lithuania now)

We've got to make sure the best young trainees that come from youth school are going to be getting the best training. Advertise in forums and find the best trainers for them, who have decent coaches, a solid training plan and the will to communicate about their trainees' training. I'd also be willing to communicate with any manager to think about it together and find the best solutions of training for young Lithuanian men. I've been a scout for the Estonian NT for two last seasons so I know a bit about how it's being done. It's really gonna be a long-term plan and not so quick development. I don't think midfield has to be the strongest part though and I don't lay importance to it in my tactics, I reckon that defence and attack are more important.

(3) defensive, attacking or normal? (you know what i mean [; )

Defence has to be rock-solid and only then we can start thinking how we can score goals and win the match. It all starts from the back line.

(4) Your best achievement

It has to be reaching the World Cup semi-finals with Eesti national team two seasons ago, winning the likes of Scotland, Holland and Italia and only losing 0-1 to Belgium in the semis. I've won bronze in Eesti Meistriliiga too and this season I won the Estonian Cup.

(5) your best match (according to tactics)

As for my team, I had a great match pretty lately, in the Estonian Cup semis this season - the match. I played against Max United (won Meistriliiga 5 times and the Cup 2 times) and he was the great favorite, but I managed to pull out a deserved victory. As for my team with the Eesti NT, I'd point out the WC 1/8-finals against the Netherlands - boy, I had many sleepless nights working on tactics back then. :)

(6) how would you improve our interest in National Team?

To increase the interest in the actions of NT, a betting competition could be organized so that the winners could choose one of their players to play in a NT friendly match. Also, I could write match reports and my opinions about matches and do statistics, so maybe it would also make it a bit more interesting for the community.

7) a: incredible pace, incredible defending, solid playmaking/pass/tech
or
b: brilliant pace, brilliant defending, poor pm/pass/tech

If it's not an extreme situation, I believe I would choose the first one as solid secondary skills are really way better than poor ones. Strikers with defence skill wouldn't take the ball away from the first player and he woulnd't hit the ball out of the pitch so often. He could be used a a defensive mid too.

(8) How long you've been playing for?

Since 20th February 2005, so over 2 years and 7 months by now.

(9) your promises [=

I don't really like to give easy promises and then not achieve them. I will definitely say that Lithuania will go through from their World Cup Qualifications group. It would also be great to achieve the first or at least second place in the group as it gives you a better seed when it comes to drawing the groups for World Cup.

Hmm, we in Estonia say that long story is rubbish, so I'm really sorry. :) Let the best candidate win.

I'm going to answer the questions anyway, even though I *probably* won't run:

1) what type of tactics do you prefer? (4-4-2, 4-5-1 etc.)

Depends on the opponent! Most of the time I use a 4-2-2-2 or 4-1-2-2-1 tactic in the league, but if needed will use almost anything (but because I keep winning my league, I have not varied the formula too much).

2) How would you try to solve lack of midfielders problem? (as I see it as the main problem for Lithuania now)

There are always ways around these things. Hoofing the ball from defence is one way with defenders with nice side stats. Also perfectly possible that there are certain players in Lietuva that are not being taken notice of which may be better than you think.

3) defensive, attacking or normal? (you know what i mean [; )
Attacking. Concede 1, score 3.

4) your best achievement
Domination in England for the past 5 seasons, semi finals of the World Cup with England.

5) your best match (according to tactics)
Boo, not sure. I've been able to be lazy with tactics for a little while.

6) how would you improve our interest in National Team?
Actually make posts, get involved with the commnunity, spam ;).

7) a: incredible pace, incredible defending, solid playmaking/pass/tech
or
b: brilliant pace, brilliant defending, poor pm/pass/tech
1st one - the side stats are overall too much more than the 1 level of passing and def to be given up really.

8) How long you've been playing for?
Almost 3 years.

9) your promises [=
To be wrestny.
2007-09-27 12:59:47
Then see you in the field.
2007-09-27 22:01:08
first of all, if you don't understand 1st point then your English is poor so that is not enough for another point. If you understand, well, I may repeat: You've got to have lots of experience (in other words: NO NOOBS PLEASE, just boobs)

You can only hit a 9th question, which is obviously not enough for now...
2007-09-27 22:18:37
I'm the only person who has made a promise that can definitely be kept :P.
