Tomorrow the first leg World Cup Qualifications. We'll fight against current World Champions! To think about first place in our group, we can not lose this match. Rival is very strong. It will not be an easy task, but we'll fight!

Fatal game... and red card for DEF;/ Sorry... it was like a clash with the wall.

The deep defense from Finland worked quite well, our midfielder most of the time just played a long ball to the strikers. But a loss isn't that bad, the important games will come in the next weeks.

A difficult tactic to play against. Maybe next time you anticipate a deep def line an off MID could work. Then you have someone to distribute the balls instead of long high kicks by DEFs which are tough to handle for strikers.

Plus, I wouldn't order a central MID back to the defense in case of a red card. I prefer to draw in one of the wingbacks. It's a risk in case of a wing, but at least you still have some counterplay. I did the same mistake in a decisive World Cup match :) If you want a MID to come back, then take at least a wide MID, so the team can still play on the other side.

Besides all that, I thought that the team had more quality and we'd hit 78-79 marks easily. Anyway, this match was a bonus. I don't think Suomi will lose many points in this WCQ. The crucial matches will be against Azerbaijan and Canada.

Hard game, and a "clear" defeat.
Suomis tactic worked bether. Their middfielders made the game and played good passes to the strikers. And their defense was hard to come through.
But they have stronger Players and so the world doesn`t end here :)
Next week you will get the first Points. I am sure :)

Sorry guy's. I wanted to have assurance DEF, then MID was a close DEF line. 7 total shots by rivals proves that [despite playing 10] our defense worked well. Unfortunately this meant to somehow play on the offensive. In general, the lack of quality... I don't suppose assume that it can look so bad in offens.

I promise to improve.

Only 0:0, a victory would have been deserved for sure. At the beginning I wasn't convinced that the tactic with the winger will work, but later on Luchs played a great match and was involved in most of the good chances. Today the strikers and especially Escher were guilty we didn't win.

imho Escher played better than Barberis...

We would have deserved to win, despite a bad start. they were better the first 20 min., then our players got better into the game and we had clearly more and better occasions.

One of the problems was a missing link between the 2 (low) midfielders and the forwards. too often, out ATT had to go back to get the ball and then faced the defenders from the front. with the huge space in midfield, an off mid would have been useful. but of course, it's easy to say after the game.

@bartucha: what I don't understand: you said you wanted the victory absolutely, why didn't the 3rd forward come in earlier? or bring a new ATT earlier?

I must admit that I'm frustrated with the awkwardness... Luchs also played some stupid balls into the back to DEF, when he was a free side sector on the pitch. For me, this draw is a defeat. 1 point in 2 games, and 0 goals. Fatal. Sorry.

I was thinking at 60', to give the third ATT. Finally, I set the 75', but unfortunately there was no break in the game and he came only in the 89';/

indeed, I observed that as well, kind of frustrating. probabely because there was no ATT/MID available
