Hello everyone!

My name is Rodrigo Carvalho, but in sokker I am known as Woody!

My career in U21 teams: The beginning

I started as a scout in Brazil U21 and at that time we could get a good team, reaching the semi-finals in U21 WC losing to Poland at that time! We got a good job encouraging the community to train Brazilian players! I got a chance to coach to create tactics and choose the team in two matches! It was my real beginning, a little discreet! (1 win, 1 lose)

At the end of the season I had decided to get experience as coach, so i decided to coach U21 Peru!

Peru U21 - Season 1

It was a brilliant season, I made my debut in an official game, a 5-1 victory against Slovenia, and started the season with a great sequence (5 wins in 5 games)! Peru qualified for the U21 WC as first position (best campaign in Perú U21 in WCQ and in a season only) and I became the first Brazilian to classifying a team for the U21 WC that was not Brazil! In total were 10 wins / 3 draws / 3 losses, one of the best U21 Selections campaigns that season, surpassing even the campaign of the Brazilian Team!

Peru U21 - Season 2

So was the biggest test for me, the World Cup U21! Perú did not fall into an easy group, had Spain, Uruguay and Latvija, we started the U21 WC with a victory over Spain (2-1) for me this was the best game I did as coach in sokker, because I managed to win without having used my best player who had an injury early in the game and because the Spanish team was far superior than Perú! The second game was a easy win vs Latvija (8-1) and lost the third game to Uruguay (1-0), Perú was eliminated in eightfinals by Azerbaijan (1-0), A defeat that did not use the best options by injuries during the U21 WC! Then they were friendly with the U20 team that was not a good team and so we lost many games, 4 wins / 1 draw / 9 losses in 2nd season.

Brasil - Season 1

After sought to a good experience with the Peruvian team, I decided to venture out as coach of my country! I had enough problems because the team had problems in diverse positions, so the start with Brasil U21 was not so encouraging, but we have been improving during the season and so classifying for the U21 WC! 8 wins / 4 draws / 4 losses in 1st season.

Brasil - Season 2

We were eliminated in the group stage (3 draws in 3 matches), The team did not have many players with good skills but I tried to take this problem by tactics, we can not and we were eliminated! After we made U20 friendlies to train the team for next season and we get good results, It is a good team with many good players! So far we have 7 wins / 4 draws / 3 losses

My working method as U21 coach:

I enjoy doing my work with the community, a good coach knows the community is the fruit of doing a good job! I like to be very participative with the users!

My objectives for the season:

- Qualify to U21 World Cup
- Winning positions in the ranking
- Being able to dialogue with the community (I think that at the moment is the big problem because it is a different language, but I will commit myself to learn a bit of it!)

Because I want to be the coach for our U21 team?

Because I want a new adventure in sokker and because I follow for a long time the Swiss community, when I went to Peru coach my biggest rival was Switzerland, It was a very good team and learned a lot with them as opponent! The Swiss users were always polite and friendly to me when I asked the skills of their players! I'm pretty excited to start something new in sokker. If you have questions can ask what I will answer!

Anyway you have to play the DACH-Cup. Do you know what is it?

I know a little about this cup because I was invited to participate including! But how they were friendly U21 I declined because I wanted to mark friendly U20 because the Brazilian community!

But we participate without any problem! After the community is the owner of the U21 team. :)

It's not a difficult group!
