We are very unlucky this end of season with injuries! Von Steiger and now Jaccard... my best DEF Midfielder.... ;(
he had very good the week before the semi final. For me this is more than enough for a DEF MID at U21 level. But you achieved the final, that's more than expected! Even you played without your best MID :P

technique is at least 10 and 10 is not a good level in technique in U21 teams!
The level of technique that would be ideal was at least 13, But the to make a comfortable work tactically with technique at least 10!
Players with lower levels than this tend to lose many possessions and not dominate easy passes, it would force me to change my tactic, which I do not want to change! Because I have a thought that a midfield is the team's soul and it has to be dynamic!
The technique is different! Spahr is an example, Fred (our reserve striker) too.... despite it being slow, his skill in technique (14) it was the reason he had gotten past the German defense in U21WC!

that's why you're completely wrong. A DEF MID doesn't has to pass an opponent! He needs playmaking to play the ball in time and passing to pass the ball to the right team mate. Your playing with players with almost no passing. Like that you'll always need luck to win games!

and you can't play with a winger because of the lack of passing of your MIDs. Maybe enough for your standard 4-4-2 at U21 level but hard to believe that you'll ever win a title in your country!

A DEF MID needs a resistance against our opponents and keep the ball in the foot when a pass is given to it! I have 3 mids to play offensive and making changes for the strikers, i need a 1 option for defense and make the possesions for the team, not losing possesions with lack of technique, passing is good, but a player without technique is so lame...

The Swiss defense is better than the Br defense than i play as Br coach!
Switzerland has better options in the middle, a better DEF MID, Spahr is better for everyone in Br as my period as coach! The side midfielders in Br They were a little better than the Swiss players!
The attack despite the best U20 striker! It was the only option we had great!
Puce is a better GK too....

The strikers was worse than ours! They suffer the same as ours, lack of technique!
The midfield was preety good, the best position and that team! And the MID DEF is it was almost like Jaccard! (irony, no?)
The defense was worse than in Switzerland! But the GK was better!
So already you ask me why I have never won a U21WC for my country, I make you another question, Why Switzerland pass the eightfinals only in this campaign in U21WC? Only lucky? We were better than Italy, Germany was better than us but on the basis of the replacement strategy we win and Belgium have a better team but we can create good opportunities! Jaccard played good in all of this matches, so it was just luck? Because if that is your argument I close this discussion now!

I never won a major title in my country because I dedicate all my time in sokker as U21 coach! Is very simple.
Tomorrow hill have our last match with the U21WC team is this DACH-Cup and the opponent is not easy, will be a hard match!
