Subject: [U21]Friendly, U21WC and DACH-Cup
Hey Woody, I have a question:
some time ago you won a silver-medal at U21WC with our kids. Those are getting now 29/30 yo. So, have you ever thought about leading those players at a NT-WC? In a season there would be a good time for it!

Hi llankru.
First of all I wanted to thank the recognition and remembrance of that campaign that we did and that we were almost world champions with a generation that had great players (Spahr, Jaccard and Ramseiser).
I even liked the invitation, but I can not accept it for 2 reasons... 1st reason is because i do not have experience with NT teams and if I were to make a change of coaching to U21 team to NT team, I would like to have time to adapt, I just agreed to make a comeback with Switzerland this season because I have a lot of experience with U21 teams, have 2 matches of adaptation would not be a problem for me, but I have no experience with NT teams, so I see this as a risk and i am not a big fan of NT teams, I do not follow NT teams and so I do not study anything about NT teams.
2nd reason is because I already have a next project to do, I want to go back to coaching the U21 team from my country (Brazil), and I hope to stay there for many seasons. But who knows in the future I do not accept long-term work in Switzerland. ^^

yeah, look, there have been a lot of NT-coaches in Switzerland without any xp. it's more an anyone-gets-a-try attitude. So, that can't be reason :-)
you should give it a try. those great players you name are still great.

Hello to the whole Swiss community!
In a few hours, my last match as a coach in Switzerland will occur, which is a U20 friendly against Austria at the close of the DACH-Cup.
I wanted to thank everyone for giving me an opportunity in Switzerland in the past, at that time I became coach here because I had left nothing positive results in Brazil and I wanted to rediscover the as a coach in that time.
We have managed to impress the world and reach a World Cup final where we almost won after a penalty shoot-out defeat.
Thanks to this result, I had opportunities to be coach in top teams in sokker... but I never forgot my roots and I decided to go back to this season to help the team in the U21 World Cup , I wanted to win the World Cup but it was not possible, it made me very frustrated, but after seeing the comments of people about my perfomance, I was satisfied because it meant that I gave the best I could to make Switzerland show a good performance.
I can not say it's goodbye because we never know of the future, but for now it's a closure of my cycle here.
Thank you all.

Thank you for everything you have done for the Swiss U21 Woody! I wish you all the best with Brazil.
Mein lieber Woody!
Many thanks for this season! It was exciting!
You're lucky you don't have to say goodbye to a defeat! No more joking! Switzerland have some strong players, such as the goalkeeper or I've also seen a very strong striker who, strangely enough, hears the name Nüssli :P.
Glad you're taking over the U21 from Brazil! I even advised you to do something for your country once! Maybe we'll meet again during the World Cup!

The GK will be good and the strikers is not bad, the problem in the defense and the midfielders.
