We lost, but we clung tightly to all the few options available to us and almost made it against a far superior opponent. Congratulations, we have nothing to complain!!

Sorry, today I loose the game. I made a great mystake, Hammel suppose to replace no.10, not 11.
No ideea when i forget to check order for no.10, and why I do not check my phone before the game (I was at my office for work, but 3 minutes I can find easy) .
Whitout this huge mystake maybe we win in 90 min. Or maybe we never scored for 1-1 ... who knows? :(

I know.. today I prepared well the entire game, especially in defence. You will never see Poland blocked like today - with only 4 shots for 120 min..

Den Polen nur vier Schüsse zugestehen, das ist stark!
Gleichzeitig konnten unsere Stürmer aber leider auch nicht viel reissen.
Für mich war zwischen dem Mittelfeld und den Stürmern zu viel Platz. Somit konnte unsere Offensive zu wenig lanciert werden. Mit nur einem Torschuss im ganzen Spiel wird es gegen die starken Polen halt schwierig.

Trotzdem war das Spiel insgesamt gesehen eine gute Leistung. Gegen Polen auszuscheiden ist keine Schande.

Oh schade, hat wirklich nicht viel gefehlt... Defensiv extrem solid und mit der Taktik ab der 2. Halbzeit hatten wir auch offensiv mehr Zugriff aufs Spiel. Es gab viel weniger Befreiungsschläge sowie mehr Räume und Anspielmöglichkeiten für das Mittelfeld und die Stürmer. Leider konnten sich die Stürmer aber im 1:1 nur selten durchsetzen und wurden z.T. auch von hinten getackelt... Schade mussten wir auf einen 20-jährigen Goali zurückgreifen, obwohl Von Siebenthal ein starkes Spiel machte.

Das hauchdünne WM Out im Viertelfinale gegen Polen ist für die Schweiz sicher eine super Leistung!

Starting today we will be dealing with the new world cup training cycle for over two seasons. I am glad that most of the users gave their consent so that I can see the skills of the Swiss players, in this way I can make a correct selection of the team with which I will approach the future preliminaries. I hope we can qualify for first place and have an accessible group for the world cup so we can then qualify for the knockout stages.
What I want is for all Swiss users to realize that collaboration is the best argument in such a game, and that a cooperation between the staff of the national team, seniors or U21, and users is essential to be able to line up the best team in official matches.
Thank you very much for what we have managed to achieve together so far, and I wish that at the next world cup we will win another medal. And I will try to get as many people as possible to help me complete this endeavor.

Hard to play U19 against U20.
The Austrian manager did not respect the initial agreement of the DACH Cup, which stipulated that in week 4 the U19 would play, and after updating the age of the players, the U20.
Under these conditions, it is good for our young players, who had a difficult game against clearly superior opponents, but that does not excuse the manager's attitude.

So.... Schweiz vs Osterreich in NT and U21? :D
Anyway, if a manager didn't respect the cup rules, he should be defeated by forfeit I suppose

Yes, in retrospect I noticed that too. That's why this match will be retrospectively rated as a forfeit victory for Switzerland. But that is little consolation.

Ja, im Nachhinein ist mir das auch aufgefallen. Deshalb wird dieses Spiel im Nachhinein als Forfait-Sieg für die Schweiz gewertet. Aber das ist ein schwacher Trost.

Group stage for WC qualification:

1. Schweiz U21
2. Slovensko U21
3. Ísland U21
4. Israel U21
5. Prathet Thai U21
6. Nigeria U21

Slovensko U21 is top team, we gonna have interesting games against them.
Israel U21 participed at last World Cup, and have good coach.
Island U21 rise, they have few good players and maybe they can produces some surprise-result. I like very much their strikers.

I see you are in U21 Schweiz since 2018 ( That must be some kind of record)
wish you good luck.
I wollud like to have the opportunity in a competitive U21 like Schweiz.

As i said in mi candidature, i´m running South Africa U21, i was Argentinian Senior Coach in 2020, and also Cameroun senior before Argentina.

I train young players since 2021, taking 19 of them (all strikers) in theirs NT U21.
Berbecell, Kolonisky, Testino, Ulej, Ali, and others.

Schweiz U20 - Deutschland U20 1:0

We won a new episode of a traditional match, against Germany U20. I can say that it was a deserved success, after a game that I controlled; however, the young Germans could equalize the situation at the end of the match. It was a good test in the perspective of the World Cup next season.
Of course, we will have to occupy the 1st place in the preliminary group.
