Subject: Eurotrip !

hello schweiz !! the next month i fly with my girlfriend to italy to start the eurotrip. i thouthg to start in roma and to go north to shwaiz from there to germany and to continue for a litle more countrys.

I wanted your help in doing a route that will take me to the best places and mountains of schweiz.

and what i must visit there what not, how the buses and rails go there (cost, time you know)
hostels with low coast, how go the sky there in the start of october(if the snow is there xD)
and every think you can told me about one of the most beatifullles countrys of the world :)

Si quieres ir a Suiza, te va a costar un monton de plata. Los trenes son muy puntual, pero bien carisimo. Deberias ir sobre Gotthard, luego a Lucerna (visitar la cuidad), luego visitar las montañas en berna oberland, brienz, interlaken, hay muchas montañas ;) y luego puedes ir a Berna tambien. De Berna a Zürich o Basel, luego ya estas casi en Alemania^^ El invierno empienza mas o menos octobre/noviembre pero siempre puede ser bien frio! En el otoño llueve mucho.

hoteles? mhmm..creo que la Jugendherberger o algo asi son de buen precio...

y hay otra manera de viajar ahi que sea mas barata ? y tambien pensaba dormir en hosteles no hoteles, y buen hacer el viaje lo mas barato posible.

if i have the eurorailpass i have some stations included on my ticket in schweiz ?

hello schweiz ! i have the tickets, i will be from 26/09 to the 03/10 we will lend in geneva and i will fly from there to roma(03/10), i really will thanks you if you can tell me about a route from geneva to the best places there and back to there. and hostels no hotels, where we can find cheap :)

Lucerne is the most beautiful city in the world you'll see! But what are your plans in Emmen? The only thing you can do there is visiting the cinema ;-)

Marcodona is right about Lucerne :) Just watch out for horrible traffic situations on weekends if you travel by car.^^ Emmen is indeed a strange choice. Perhaps you mistook it for Emmen/Netherlands? Plus, don't you want to leave out 1-2 cities and go on a mountain instead? Jungfraujoch (from Interlaken) or Titlis (from Lucerne) would be easy targets I guess.

Or Pilatus from Lucerne... but mountain railways are expensive! But take a look at www.pilatus.ch!!!

You're right, Pilatus is probably the cheaper alternative - he could even walk^^

yes i have looking and maybe we will need to leave a litle citys, like emmen, zirich and i am not shure but maybe basel, but i am not shure because there is the jura and the black forest right ?

26/09-03/10:

Geneva – Hostel Geneva city 28.75E (26-27/9)

Laussane y Montreux – maybe reach to thun too and then to interlaken.(27/9)

Interlaken – (awa heidi 18E, balmmers 19.70E*, happy inn lodge22E) go to the mountain jangfrau do treckim and from there to luzern. (27-29/9)

Luzern – (backpackers 29E*, lion 29E) mountains titlis or pilatus, treck y and in the night go to bern. (29/09-01/10 )

Bern – (bernbackpakers 31.5E) to be in the swacht to see the beers in the park if i have time to newchatel and from there to Geneva (01-02/10 )

03/10 Geneva - ROMA

i am think i will need to give up basel and zurich :( but next time i will back to there !

your route looks very good! You have just 1 week so i think it's better to stay a bit longer and enjoy enstead of traveling to every possible city! Well done so far! I hope you'll enjoy your stay!

yes i think will be better to enjoy of these places with time and not to run, and what you say give with me franks or with euro its ok ?

If you have a credit card you don't need any Swiss francs i think. It should be possible to pay in EUR everywhere and if not you can use your credit card! Maybe a small amount of CHF! But if you buy CHF, think about that you just take the bills back home. We have coins for 5 CHF what is nearly 5 EUR at the moment and your bank will not take them at home! So this money would be lost!

I would try it without CHF. Just use EUR!
