You are right but I was a little robbed and you maybe more lucky. The guy I had was V Good scoring too and the same in the other stats so you would need to bump him to excellent scoring imo, but at 22 depending on his talent it may not be worth it for you.....??

My original plan was to follow tech training with striking - but as my most talented players are in midfield I'm looking as passing/pm instead, selling off Meggs amongst others. I'm almost certain 1 week of striking will see Meggs pop to very good, but I can't justify more than that.

I was hoping he'd be looked at as an older striker trainee rather than a finished product - good enough for a first XI spot to someone too. His talent was 6 weeks with a very good coach (my third promoted junior 'back in the day'), so he's prob 4.67 or thereabouts with a magical/unearthly, but age counts against him.

You've only had him a month, why not train his pace and stamina and actually make a profit?

If you don't train a player it is unlikely you will be able to sell for a profit.
