Subject: VALUATIONS thread

i'd be tempted to train him in pace for a season, and hope to get a random each on tech and striker. I guess players like this with talent can go for silly money though. Junior Transfers (en) would be the place to ask really.

if i train him then i lose a tech slot for the next 4 weeks. plan is tech 4wks, pace 17 wks...

problem is striker is the only outfield skill i don't have unearthly in - only formidable.

If talented, then 4 weeks of tech training will only improve him. you might get 2 pops in that time.

true... might be worth holding onto for the silly season, eh? 4 weeks tech, 3 weeks pace, 2 weeks stamina. hmmm. will see what the valuations come in at.

i think quite a few pace trainers would snap your hand off at the start of next season for a very good tech 18 yo striker trainee. More so for an excellent one, but that would involve another couple of weeks tech training.

I don't think he's worth any more than 300k at present.

i think that's about right... question is, how much would he be worth with say 2 levels of tech & 2 pace at 18 in week 1?

that would do me. right, will shelve my 24yr old who popped in tech today - he probably wont pop to v.good in 4 weeks anyway - then keep and train this guy til end of season and hope for luck with the pops.

8 weeks to magical, another four done towards unearthly.

I'd guess at £500k tops - his secondaries aren't good and he's not hugely attractive to a striker or tech trainer at 23. Your best bet for £££ would be getting him to unearthly pace, and if possible boosting tech or striker a touch, and selling at the start of next season (when some managers have more money than sense).

If his form is nice then expect a little more for him.

Thanks for the prompt replay. Yeah, his form stays around the top most of the time. Not planning other than pace training soon so guess its best to sell him now/when he pops in pace and give someone else a chance to bring striker/tech up a bit.

depends on whether his talent is any good, and whether you have proof of talent.
